Q: Hi, I just purchased the Threshold Londonberry Floor Lamp. The cord is in 2 pieces, disconnected in the middle. It looks like a clean cut. Is it supposed to be like this or 1 connected cord?

I bought 4 after reading the reviews with the hopes that 3 would be good. The store only had 3 and out of those 3, only one lamp can be assembled. The others have the same defective threading system the reviews mentioned. It is a shame how much trash and waste these defective lamps are creating.

I had to return the initial lamp, it did not assemble correctly. The second one was a bit better. Not perfect but decided to keep, the price was very reasonable and honestly I didn’t feel like making another trip to return.

So many bad reviews but I had no issues. Easy to assemble, didn’t even need instructions. Took me literally two minutes. Spent longer removing all the packaging and tape than the actual putting together process! Will agree that the lamp shade does not match description but for $36, I’m not going to complain. It’s really not bad. Would definitely but again especially for this sale price.

I was a little worried reading the review of those who had problems with the threads not lining up or the center post being crooked, but it came together in a snap and stands nice and straight. The base keeps it nice and steady. I put it together all by myself in less than 15 minutes. Please be aware, a lightbulb is not included, but fortunately I had a spare. Looks great, just like the picture and gives good light! Great price too! Highly recommend! Thanks, Target!!

I bought two of these on sale. They are great quality especially at the $52 sale price if you get one that’s not crooked. Out of the two I purchased one was very crooked and one was perfect. I’d like to attempt a 3rd but I’m not sure I want to go through putting it together and having to take it apart, rebox and return if I end up with another crooked one. It’s a great buy if it’s not crooked. I’m glad I got at least one perfect one.
