Q: It claims it's hypoallergenic but have severe allergic reactions to guacamole which is made with avocados, so what's gonna happen if this is used??

I love that it's truly hypoallergenic - it really is just a stick of zinc - but the downside is that the application is really difficult, it rolls on like a very, very firm stick deodorant, and it leaves a very prominent white cast even on fair skin.

This version (the mineral white SPF 50 stick) provides significantly better sun protection than the clear SPF 50 stick. Our family has used every version of Sun Bum, for some reason the clear and mist versions do not protect as well. I’m not sure if their SPF is diminished or if they sweat off/rinse off easier but my family of redheads gets burned using them however with the mineral roll-on SPF 50 and this mineral SPF 50 stick we do not burn at all! Typically we only have to reapply once or twice for a five hour day at the beach/pool with great results. Sun Bum please don’t change this formula!!

I love the liquid sun bum sunscreen products so had high hopes for this one. Unfortunately, I don’t think I will be buying again. When you first apply it does go on white so you can see the lines where you’ve applied. After blending the lines, the white isn’t as noticeable. But I also dislike the sunscreen smell that it has when it’s on your face.

This is my first sunscreen face stick and I actually really like it. I’m an avid sunscreen user and suffer from melasma so I don’t play when it comes to the outdoors. I always wear sunscreen and a hat. I use this stick first and pat it in, then cetaphil 50 lotion sunscreen over and feel super protected. Later if I need to reapply I just glide the stick over face and pat in and it works well over light makeup.

Sun Bum mineral spf 50 face stick is great. I have always used different sunscreens for face or body on my face in the past, which would always burn my eyes while swimming or sweating. Well not this face stick. It does leave a slight white layer on your face, which I don’t mind. I just make sure I run it into skin more to decrease appearance. The scent is different than past face sunscreen I’ve used. Only problem I’ve had is finding this product in stores, I have looked for a year with no luck. Not sure what took me so long to look for it online.

East to apply and provides great protection. Most sun care products make my skin feel like it’s burning but this one is comfortable. It does leave a very sheer white cast if not properly blended but I’ve had no problems!
