Q: I do not seem to be able to get my expandable handle through these duster sheets - it goes in but then pops out halfway through the sheet. Is there a trick to attaching these correctly? Thank you!

submitted by cleveland shopper - 3 years ago

  • A: We'd like to get more information to help, so when you have a chance, please get in touch with us at (800) 214-8734.

  • A: This is, in fact, a problem. The quality of this product has declined. The refills are rougher in texture and much thinner than they used to be. They tend to fall apart during use. They used to be thicker and softer - absolutely so - and it was no big whoop to thread them onto the plastic frame. I have found that angling the plastic duster end away from the material as I push it through the channel helps to prevent tearing. Should this really be an issue for consumers, though, given the high and ever-increasing cost of these? Nope. Currently reconsidering my brand loyalty and looking for a more eco-friendly alternative.

submitted byMFSArnhrt - 4 months ago

Q: Are these refills with 18 in the box still the good, soft ones - as pictured - or the new (dreadful and useless) ones with the dark blue polka-dot sheets added? Thank you.

submitted by PennyAnne - 10 months ago

  • A: Thank you so much for your question. This product you are referring to is the one sided Swiffer Duster refills and they are as soft as always! Just notice that, the one you mentioned seems to be the 10ct one.

Q: Your information reads 10 count, but the package says 18 count. Which is it?

submitted by Lisa - 7 years ago

  • A: the picture I see on my online order even says 40 count for the order choice is 10 or 18. VERY MISLEADING.

submitted byDana - 1 year ago

  • A: This is for the Swiffer Dusters Multi-Surface refill 10-count. We do offer an 18 count refill as well. If you have any other questions about our Swiffer Dusters, give us a call at (800) 214-8734.

Guests are saying

The Swiffer duster refills are designed to make dusting quick and efficient, capturing dust effectively without spreading it around. Many guests appreciate their ease of use, especially in hard-to-reach areas, and the unscented option is a plus for those sensitive to fragrances. However, some guests have noted a decline in quality, with concerns about the fluffiness and effectiveness of the new design. Overall, they remain a popular choice for maintaining a clean home.

Too thin to jokd on to any dust!

These don’t deserve even one star. So disappointing as I love the swiffer products. These are super thin and the dust, etc., doesn’t cling to what little there is of a duster.

    Not Worth It

These are NOT the same thing they used to be!! When is this kind of thing going to stop?! Obviously never because greed will ALWAYS outweigh the value of products. I just had to replace my previous box of these and IMMEDIATELY noticed they were significantly smaller and significantly less fluffy and way thinner and shorter. This is the same kind I always buy and I will never purchase these again. They don’t even dust the same and get into the crevices or work well. I attached pictures of my old one and the new ones. Don’t waste your money

NOT unscented, not as good as they used to be

These have changed for the worse. They longer "fluff" easily or well. They are also not unscented anymore as they used to be; they now have that hideous, mildly floral, "pandemic disinfectant" smell to them that everything has now. I thought it might be just on the box from sitting in a warehouse, but the smell is overwhelming once you open the box and is definitely on the actual product. FIX THIS, SWIFFER! You ruined a decent product.

Swiffer Duster has changed since I purchased last. This one has a very fluffy lighter blue middle layer that keeps pulling off and snagging on things.
