Q: What does mascara with tubing mean?

A: It means that each lash is coated in a polymer tube vs painted on like normal mascara. It's helpful if you rub your eyes a lot or have oily skin/lids so your mascara won't bleed. Easier to remove too.

Beautiful mascara, always great quality, howeverrrrr… the darker blue shade- not recommended. No one can tell it’s blue. Get the bright blue shade if you want more than just you to know it’s not black mascara. I wish the color was more noticeable. I attached unretouched pics for reference.

This is the only mascara I’ve found that doesn’t fall and give me raccoon eyes. I have oily skin and even when I’ve used primers, nothing worked. Tarte’s tubing mascara is the only thing that’s ever worked for me.

One of the best mascara i have ever used. Natural in one coat, dramatic in more. Separates doesn't clump great brush gives volume and lift. I have very long thick lashes I like to make stand out and this is the best for that. It looks like I have fake lashes on I've had so many people ask if those are my real eyelashes since I started using this.

I'm giving this five stars even though I'm allergic to it (I think it's the lavender oil that's bothering me). It made my eyelashes look fantastic - much longer, thicker, but not clumpy. I tried it for a few days but realized it wasn't seasonal allergies that were making my eyes itch, but it was the mascara. Since most people will not be allergic to the ingredients, and because I would use the product if I weren't, I still recommend it to those who can wear it.

For years I've been using blue mascara and anytime a brand releases a blue, it's hit or miss or a limited edition. I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this one was. I've tried the Tartlette Tubing Mascara in black and wasn't a fan but the Electric Blue is fantastic. The formula is great, color payoff is EXCELLENT, staying power good, gives length, definition, separation and decent volume without clumping. I am going to purchase some of the other colors and see if they are as good as the Electric Blue.

I work outside in a hot climate and absolutely live in tubing mascara. This was a "splurge" mascara after years of using the L'oreal double extend and Elf lash xtndr. Both of those are better products for less than half the price. The Tarte version goes on slick wet and transfers easily to the lid and under eye. After it dries, it flakes. After all of this, it's somehow still difficult to remove. I guess it gives reasonable definition and I appreciate the color selection but I cannot imagine a scenario in which I would buy this mascara again.
