The scent is light, not overpowering or strong. Nice subtle fresh tingle when working up the lather. Haven’t had long enough for any change in hair. Bottle is much smaller than I expected for the price!

This is a shampoo, let’s not forget the purpose of shampoos: cleansing the hair— this shampoo does deliver on this fundamental purpose. In addition to that it does have a formulation that is gentle in the hair, ingredients that are intentional for scalp health, and overall I’d say as long as you do have a thin hair type you will find this product to be a great product.

I decided to give this a try, along with the conditioner and tonic. My hair was thinning and I was just hoping it would help keep what I had and possibly help with the shedding of my hair. I was pleasantly surprised that it did that and more. I have regrowth that was so unexpected. I have had many people comment on the regrowth and ask what I am using. I do not normally write reviews but this one deserves it. Pic are about 9 months to a year from start of use.

This product is the first time that I have used it. I Love it, I can feel it on my scalp working and my hair feels and looks better after a week of using this product. Will definitely buy again. I always buy 3 to 4 different shampoos from Paul Mitchell when I buy. I like to change it up. I think it is beneficial to my hair. But this new product i truly ❤️ Love, THANKS PAUL MITCHELL.

Ok just another sampoo

After searching for a shampoo for my thin hair that didn’t end up making my hair look greasy & flat, I saw this & decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. I can easy comb thru my hair after washing (which has been a struggle). At the end of the day my hair still looks nice & clean & actually has some volume.

The shampoo is creamy in texture and quite strongly scented like tea tree which I love (but may not be everyone's cup of tea!). It helps clear build-up from my scalp, as promised and doesn't strip my hair color, although I do find it slightly drying - in itself not a problem as the conditioner used straight after balances out the effect. Usually I find it difficult to find an effective shampoo to clear build-up but this one actually does it, and as a bonus I also found it helps keep my scalp clear of the psoriasis that flares up every now and again, possibly due to the Tea tree. With regards to hair fall, I can't say I noticed any difference, but it's possible I just haven't used it long enough. And I don't plan on using it for much longer either because the issue with this shampoo is that whether I use it once, twice or three times per wash, my hair is left feeling/looking greasy and very flat. And no matter how I use it or the duration or frequency of usage, nothing makes a difference. I have been using this product and the tonic for 3 wks and found I was losing more hair than before I started. Paul Mitchell will only exchange for another product..NO REFUND.

I bought this recently and mainly bought for the tea tree in shampoo and for fuller stronger hair. I liked the pump on this bottle as it allowed me to pump as much as I needed. This shampoo lathered up very nice and rinsed out good. This shampoo dis add fuller looking hair and was satisfied with mu results.

Good product if you can get over the very intense not so great smell

I have fine (thin) hair, and while I love the smell and texture of the shampoo - it leaves my hair looking a little greasy post-wash. I am being sure to not use too much (and to lather), but I am surprised at the heaviness of the shampoo and I’m not super pleased with the post-wash look of my strands after I blow-dry my hair.

I have been suffering hard for ten years with thinning hair. This along with the conditioner has made a big difference in my hair. I noticed far less hair fallout at shampoo time! My hair stylist has also noticed!
