The foundation was easy to assemble and appeared well made. That said one corner joint was a bit off and that caused a gap between adjoining pieces. It has not effected the bed nor mattress so i am willing to ignore it. Just not perfect fit but nevertheless very nice. Unfortunately jury still out on the Dream Max I purchased at the same time.
