The sunscreen serum from The Ordinary has garnered mixed feedback from guests. Many appreciate its lightweight texture and the absence of a white cast, making it suitable for daily use under makeup. However, some guests experienced breakouts and irritation, particularly those with oily or sensitive skin. Overall, it offers a hydrating feel and a beautiful glow, but guests recommend patch testing before full application to avoid adverse reactions.

buying this again as soon as I run out!
as someone with medium to tan skin that's acne prone and very oily, this sunscreen sits so well on my face!! it blends in perfectly with no white cast!! which is something I'm so happy to have found in a sunscreen product. I have been using The Ordinary products for about three years now and I'm happy to say I haven't been disappointed by any of their products.

One of my favs
bought on a whim because I wanted to try it out. i did not know i would love this product! I love The Ordinary, great products at great prices. so i love that it doesnt burn my eyes, and there is no white cast. it does give that glowy effect after you apply it but its not too glowy. the consistency of product is more on the thinner side, its not as thick as a lotion and not too thin like an oil. the only con that i have is that i wish it came in a bigger size.

Would recemmed
I love this SPF serum. It doesn't leave a white cast! It goes on thick and looks SLIGHTLY shiny when you first put it on (I like this so I can see where I missed). But it totally melts into the skin after a minute and is great all day. Can't feel it!

Do A Test Patch
I used this and broke out with a lot tiny bumps. I have normal to dry skin. Unfortunately it took a few days to realize it this product. I would definitely recommend doing a patch test if you want to try this product out.

It Burns my Eyes
This is just basically normal sunscreen but kind of runny. Its a little greasy but I don't mind as I have dry skin. The absolute worst part about it though is that if I sweat at all in the first couple hours after applying the product will run into my eyes and it hurts so much. It feels just like when you get normal sunscreen in your eyes

The ordinary sunscreen
I loved it !! My skin is not oily and it definitely moisturizes my face and doesn’t make me break out. Like most of these reviews !! Their faces must just naturally be oily.

Little bumps
I'm in my early 20's and have combination, acne prone skin. I'm afriad this product is awful. I wore it consistently for one week, applied every morning, and wore it for half a day. Not only is it super greasy if you use the correct amount (two fingers worth of product), but on the last day I used it, my entire face had produced tiny oily bumps, or clogged pores. They're still taking their sweet time going away.

It's terrible
Please do not get this product, it completely turned my face into a bumpy itchy mess and it's seriously caused me a lot of stress. My entire face is itchy and bumpy, it's awful lol. I don't use sunscreen and I was recommended this product by an ulta employee, it's terrible.

I like it
This sunscreen worked well with my combination skin type. It doesn't leave a white cast, is lightweight (but a little too watery imo), and goes a long way. I like the pump applicator as well.

Love this sunscreen!
I've been using this sunscreen for a couple of months and love it! I've used much pricier sunscreens and this one is just as good! It's not thick, goes on smoothly and gives a beautiful light glow. Perfect especially if your skin is on the dry side.

Stings the eyes
Not a fan of the texture. It's verrrry emollient and greasy. It's thin-ish but I wouldn't call it a serum. I could forgive the greasiness, but this sunscreen burns my eyes every time I wear it. I will be only using it on my neck and decollete.

If you're acne prone, skip it
I really like this brand and use a lot of stuff from them, but for some reason every time I tried this sunscreen it made me break out!

Greasy and gross
Just, no. Greasy and doesn’t absorb. Save your money and put it towards a sunscreen you know you love and works.

Very heavy sunscreen
This is not my favorite spf. It is not a serum consistency. It's quite heavy and stays sitting on the skin. I thought it was a chemical sunscreen, which should sink into the skin well. This doesn't act like a chemical sunscreen at all. It is heavy and I can feel it on my skin the whole day. Very greasy too.

100% worst skincare product I've ever bought.
I have used the ordinary skincare products for over a year now and love them! I've never had more clear skin. I saw they came out with an SPF and I was so excited. Immediately bought it and started using it. Within the first hour of using it my face started to break out. I stopped using it but the damage was done. My face and neck are now covered in bumps. I have never had a skincare product do this to my skin, and it doesn't seem to be getting better. Please save ur money and your face and do a test patch on your arm or something. Or better just skip out on this product.

Disappointed...
I wanted sooo badly to love this. I love the bottle, the pump and the consistency of the SPF but once it goes on your face it makes your skin sooooo oily and greasy! And I have very dry skin! It made my face look so shiny and just felt oily to the touch. Maybe it works best under foundation, but I don’t wear any. Unfortunately this is a no for me.
