Description

Book Synopsis

A Journey of Faith, Power, and Spiritual Lessons for All Ages to Embrace

The Recruit is a must-read for anyone with a desire to serve God. At the tender age of nineteen, David Yanez heard God tell him to trust Him and join the United States Navy. What followed was a faith adventure that lasted through David's entire enlistment and beyond. The Recruit is a vital source of inspiration and information for anyone considering entering the military. David Yanez's true story demonstrates how one can serve God in any endeavor--a secular job, as a homemaker, or though service in the military or ministry.

About the Author

Pastor David Yanez, "the Rev," has been preaching the gospel since he was sixteen years old. God has used him in the U.S. Navy, throughout our nation, and many places in the world to deliver healing, hope, and the gospel of salvation.
In his early twenties, he interned with a mission ministry from India to help reach the 1.5 billion in India and Asia that do not know Jesus. In his early thirties, he started hosting a popular radio show called Midwatch with the Rev.

Today, the Rev continues in ministry as a pastor, author, radio/TV host, missionary, and evangelist through Revelation Ministries. He holds healing services, relationship conferences, and speaking engagements around the nation through David Yanez Ministries. He is the station general manager for RevMedia Network and director of RevMedia Publishing, all of which he founded.
