How it works: Our 10% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum provides a highly concentrated blend of brightening and anti-aging ingredients. A: It is common to notice hints of yellowing due to the natural destabilization process of the Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum. The water-like consistency and cloudy appearance is preceded by the varying stages of shelf life. As the serum begins to age it will slowly appear darker in color due to the natural oxidation process. Once it turns orange or brown the serum is no longer as potent or effective. It smells absolutely awful. I thought maybe I just got a bad batch so I tried exchanging it. Neither bottle was oxidized as the serum was still clear and they weren't expired either. Both bottles had the same horrible smell. Even if the serum worked well, it's not worth the stench which I would describe to be reminicent of sour hot dogs and bologna.

Over time, this vitamin c serum definitely works! I get hyperpigmentation easily from acne and I notice they fade faster when I use this serum consistently. It has a bad smell but several other vitamin c serums also smell the same. The packaging has been updated to a glass bottle instead of plastic which feels more sturdy.

I have been using this product for a while. However this time the product shipped is completely different. The packaging is different so as the serum. Instead of the light yellow-ish color, it is now complete clear. I am even skeptical if it is the same product.
