Great machine for recovering and healing
I purchased the Total Gym because I am recovering from a torn Achilles tendon and two torn biceps. I am still exploring the machine and exercises. So far I have been amazed at the results I have achieved. Very glad I made the investment.

Upgraded from 1700 to Fit and love it
I upgraded my 1700 with the Fit, and I’m glad I did. I had a 1700 for many years, and while it was great, the Fit is a clear upgrade. My wife has started using it and loves it as much as me.

Great fitness tool for any age & sport
Now that I'm in my 70's, balance, flexibility and core strength are more important than ever. The Total Gym FIT allows you to do everything from yoga style flexibility stretching to functional resistance and weight training. It tones and strengthens core muscles which greatly aids balance. And because you're lifting your own weight by means of the cable system, multiple positions and range of motion is possible. Excellent machine.

Works Even For The Elderly
TOTALGYM is everything it is claimed to be!!! I am in my mid 80's and have used it regularly since I bought it a month or so ago, although on Level 2 for most exercises. The beginning instructions have been wonderful. The videos not only demonstrate the exercises but also how to mount and dismount safely....very important for older folks!! I am getting a little stronger and a little more flexible with each use,. A devoted fan

OUR NEW TOTAL GYM
Ordered TotalGym so we could exercise at home. A little hard to get set up but once done, it now sits in our air conditioned garage where we have tv and dvd to workout. It has proved to be a little challenging for spouse who has mobility issues, getting down to do exercise. It will take a little time to ajust.

I wish I would have purchased this years ago. I love the versatility and ease of use. You can follow the exercise cards that are provided or just get on and do whatever comes natural.
