Q: Will this restore a phone that has run out of minutes and been deactivated?

submitted by Linda - 5 days ago
  • A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about Tracfone $24.99 (Email Delivery) Yes, a $24.99 Tracfone Airtime Card can be used to reactivate your phone, but whether it "restores" your old life on that phone depends on how long it has been sitting idle. If it's been less than 60 days, you can usually reactivate the phone using that $24.99 card and keep your original phone number and any leftover minutes/data that were on the phone before it expired. If it has been more than 60 days, the phone is considered fully "de-enrolled." You can still reactivate the device using the card, but you will almost certainly be assigned a new phone number, and any previous balance is likely gone forever. It is suggested to reach out to Tracfone directly to verify accuracy to account related questions like this if there is any concerns or complications. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
