Most modern phones, including the TCL K24, use the cellular network for calls, texts and mobile data when you're not connected to Wi-Fi. To stay connected, you must add a service plan that provides talk, text and data. If your phone isn't working considering that you added a plan when you leave the house, it suggests there might be an issue with its connection to our towers, or perhaps the mobile data is turned off. To ensure your phone works everywhere you go, you need to make it's properly set up to use the network. That means you shouldn't need your home internet to make calls or send texts once you're outside your house. I wouldn't recommend buying this phone.

I have to be honest and say I don't like this phone. I judge a phone mainly off of how good is the battery life and this phone doesn't hold a charge very long at all. In other words it doesn't take long for you to notice that the battery is going down. The next issue is once you take this phone off of the charger and push the button to turn it on it takes forever to come on so then you don't know if you did it right and then you press the button again trying to get it to come on and then you just have to sit and wait and start all over. I'm going to go ahead and make the best of it and use it until I can't use it no more because I paid for it so there's that.

Tracphone company experince horrible

Tracphone stated this phone was incompatible and no device found when activating. Customer service off shore unprofessional incompetent language barriers also significantly affected service. Tracphone needs to do better

The day I activated it they were going through major updates to their systems. Was never able to fully use any of my apps or make calls.

Husband's new phone

I purchased this phone for my husband. He needed a newer, faster model. However, it keeps dropping calls and we can't get a new one without sendind old one in. He can not be without a phone. This policy needs to change.
