A: Hi there, thanks for reaching out! Our Smooth Move products are only indicated for occasional use unless otherwise directed by a practitioner. Senna may produce abdominal pain, cramping, or diarrhea and we always recommend checking with your healthcare team if there are specific questions in relation to your personal health background and use of this product. The way senna works for constipation is that it promotes peristalsis which is the contraction of the intestines. The strength of this effect can vary from person to person and is the reason some people experience cramping. We do add complementary herbs to our Smooth Move teas to ease this, but again it can vary person to person. If you are prone to cramping when ingesting senna we recommend our Organic Smooth Move Peppermint tea may provide additional cramping relief. We hope you love this product!

Q: Can u drink it more than once a day ?

A: Hi Britt! Smooth Move is intended to be drank once a day for occasional constipation.* We recommend following all listed directions that adults and children over 12 years old should drink 1 cup, preferably at bedtime, as it can take 6-12 hours to produce a bowel movement. It’s indicated to use for no more than 7 days but some may need to drink one cup at night for a few days in a row. If constipation is persistent this product may not be indicated for you as it is only indicated for occasional constipation.* We recommend chatting with your healthcare professional if you have more specific questions!

The Laxative GOAT
Truly the holy grail of laxatives. I’m not joking in any way when I tell you I’ve had constipation issues since childhood, plus I’m on two medications that cause it as well. I have tried every form of laxative under the sun to no avail. My neighbor recently told me about Smooth Moves and it works like a charm. The taste is also great as well. I steep it in my big Yeti, add some oat milk, and I’m relieving myself the next day without issue. I also have zero side effects. No stomach aches or loose bowels at all. Where has this tea been all my life?! Highly, highly recommend.

Efficient Movement for Relunctant Bowels
Highly recommend for efficient movement of reluctant bowels. Rather than taking at bedtime though, I suggest you try a cup first thing in the morning and plan to stay home, close to the toilet.

I never have been much
I never have been much for hot teas. I’ve always drank coffee and I thought that was enough but I always stayed stocked up until I finally started using this tea. My wife was using it and she said it really worked for her. She had cancer and she passed away last March and so she had some of this leftover and I started using it and oh my how it works. I have just had the best time drinking this tea I get up in the morning and get my coffee started and it’s time to go to the bathroom every morning. I love it. Thank you very much.

Dont drink no more than a cup!
I was backed up for a week. Took miralax and nothing happened. Finally after a week of no bowel movements, I Drank a half a cup of smooth move tea and have not stopped going to the bathroom haha I’m relieved but wow i feel like I’ve moved pounds from my body. DO NOT drink more than a cup or else you’ll be chained to your toilet.
