Q: How much weight can this board and attachments support? I collect a lot of enamel pins and Im worried the mounting hardware will collapse under the pin's combined weight when I put it on the wall.

This board is horrible .. It takes all of my strength to push pins through it! I’m not sure if I got one bad one but I have several other cork boards and I don’t struggle with any like I struggle with this one. Also, the pin pokes out through the back .. luckily I did this BEFORE I hung it, otherwise, I think it would’ve poked holes in my walls!

The board is a nice size, but the cork is very thin. I used it to display Disney World items, like pins- and the pins went straight thru the thin cork and are poking out and tenting the cork on the backside. It won't survive much of switching pins around.

Spend a bit more money to get something better quality. This has a thin layer of, I guess corkboard-like fabric, that peels off very easily. I thought it would be cute to stick a magnetic strip onto this so my kids had an option for magnets to hang their drawings and when I took it off it peeled nearly all of the fabric with it. Real cork board or even slightly better quality boards wouldn’t do this. It is totally ruined now. Another thing to note is that if you buy more than one of these, the screw holes in the backs are NOT in the same place. I thought I could use my same measurements to hang each one and had to drill extra holes in the wall because the hanging holes were about 1/2 inch different on the backs of each board. I would expect the exact same item to be uniform in this aspect. Bottom line-you get what you pay for.
