Works for litter box contents!
For the past two weeks, we've been using this stainless steel diaper pail to dispose of the bathroom contents of our cat's litterbox. NO STINKY ODORS! And it's awesome that a regular size trash bag works, you don't have to buy specially branded bags. There's also a lock you can twist on the top of the can to keep the sliding door from being opened (sorta like a childproof lock.) The Ubbi is truly a game changer and we are grateful to have it!

Great diaper pail!
Great diaper pail, I never smell the diapers in it! My only complaint is that it’s a little short and there’s no foot pedal for it so when you put the diapers in there, you gotta go out of reach of the baby on the changing table

Must have for nursery
We picked this one since it doesn't take any special bags and it's been a great purchase. It keeps the smells inside and holds a good amount. We usually like to empty it every couple days so it doesn't get to full. We just buy cheap trash bags so it's cost effective compared to other pails that require special bags.

Get the genie instead
This was a gift & I’ve been using for 2 months and it isn’t keeping the odor in. I have to keep the air purifier on. The genie is plastic and I had no problems with it when I used with my first child.

Stinks.
Don’t be lured in by the “use any bag” nonsense. Yes, you can use any garbage bag you want, but it also means it’s just a regular garbage pail with a lid. The smells don’t get sealed in like with a regular diaper pail and bags that create a suction around the stink.

Didn't last
The handle just broke off after 17 months of use. Disappointed it didn't last through one child. Part of the lid also chipped within a year. It also smells sooo bad once our baby started solids LOL. Does not keep the smell contained. If you go with this one, just make sure you switch the bag out more than weekly, which we do not. So that one might be more of a user error. Love the look of it and the lock is really nice with a curious toddler. Just disappointed in the quality of the lid.

It only lasts a couple of years didn’t make it with two kids- had to order a replacement for the inside and it rusts on the inside and turns a yellow color. Breaks when you lift it. They stop warranty after a year or so. Would not recommend.

Seal failure
Less than a year in, the seal failed and the whole place stinks because of this. It worked well when it was new and suddenly one day the seal stopped working.

Buy something else!
HATE this product and HATE their customer service. No matter what we do (based off of manufacturer recommendations) this thing SMELLS HORRID. Contact customer service? Unprofessional and make you jump through a million hoops. Ended up just throwing it away because it’s worthless.

Do not recommend
Strongly considering of throwing it out. It stinks like crazy. We’ve been using it since January. And I clean it constantly and still stinks. The worse of it all I put the diapers in a dog poop bag before throwing it in the diaper pail. And it stinks so bad still.

Great diaper pail!
We purchased one for each of our kiddos and they’ve held up well. They really contain the smell and I love that they take regular garbage bags. I’m surprised by the negative reviews. We will occasionally set it outside just to air out for a bit but it’s a diaper pail, it’s going to smell when open just like any other garbage can.

Ubbi lid break
The lid broke twice, after normal use. The first time we reached out to ubbi support and they replaced it. The process was long and drawn out. There was a lot of proof of owning the product. This isn't a quality product.
