I am on the hunt for the perfect setting spray and wanted to try Ulta's offering. It sets my makeup well but leaves a slightly shiny finish. My makeup stays all day and in the end that is what the product is for so love that!!

It lasts pretty much all day. Not sticky or shiny. It's just right

Bought this to take on a cruise. It set my makeup nicely, not too matte. The sprayer is pretty good for travel size. I would purchase again. I may actually like it better than my tarte shape tape stay spray!

Dries white on skin. Don't waste your money.

This spray is the only setting spray that works for me. I have extremely oily skin and summer heat makes it worse. I stock up so I don't run out. Keeps my face fresh, matte and not an oil slick .Please don't stop making this!

It's a nice mist, no noticeable fragrance, not irritating to my skin, and holds my makeup in place nicely. It dries down to a natural finish, not necessarily matte, but still pretty. The bottle is travel size, so it's easy to toss in a purse and not take up too much space.

Bought this Matte Finishing Spray because I loved the Ulta Beauty Collection Matte Primer, also Smooth & Blur Primer. This Matte finishing spray actually leaves my face with a Matte Finish all day! I have many primer setting sprays but this Ulta Beauty Collection Matte Veil Setting Spray is a total WIN!!! Thank you for the absolutely Great product!!!

This product works fantastic! Matte, BLURRED finish and helps with the wear time of makeup WITHOUT denatured alcohol!!!This is a true hidden gem! If you want a matte setting spray GET THIS! It's better than most high end setting sprays and much more affordable!

I bought this on a whim when I saw it in the checkout line. I'd been looking for a setting spray that would help control the shine my T-zone inevitably gets by lunch. I've been using for about a week, and so far I am liking it. While it's still pretty soon to say definitively, my acne prone skin also seems to be doing okay with it. Easy to throw in a bag for midday spritzes if I need which is also a major plus. It dries quickly, doesn't leave a sticky film, and goes on clear. I do wish it had a continuous spray, which is my only reason for taking one star off.

The setting spray works except it leaves white spots all over my face. I tried shaking it and holding it further from my face but still had spots all over.

I love this finish of this spray. Just the right kind of matte! HOWEVER it clogs my pores like CRAZY. Even after cleaning with TWO make-up removing wipes and a salicylic acid scrub, i will still wake up the next day with 1-2 new (and deep) pimples. Its frustrating bc i love this product. Great finish and great price. But im too afraid to use it.

I have an extremely oily face no matter how many matte/oil free products I use in my skin care and makeup. Literally, 30 minutes after applying my makeup, my face has shine. If you're like me, and feel insecure throughout the day, I recommend using a combination of oil blotting wipes, and this amazing setting spray. 4 hours into my full day of lectures and my oil blotting sheet barely picked up any oil. No, it's not perfect. But as an oily girl it's just a fact you have to face that no product will completely solve the issue. But a product that greatly reduces oil is a total win. I'm so happy with my purchase and will be repurchasing.

When I used the setting spray it left little white dots all over my face, wouldn't use this again.

Product & picture don’t match. It looks like the picture of the matte & dewy finish are swapped. So I ordered dewy and received matte.

I have VERY sensitive skin, and I am allergic to fragrance. This is fragrance-free and hasn't irritated my skin at all. It is a great option for those who need something fragrance-free or just have super sensitive skin, and it works exceptionally.

This is supposed to be the same product that used to come in a black bottle with a pink lid but it's absolutely not. The spray comes out uneven, it's very "wet" on the skin and takes a long time to dry. The finish is not matte and it doesnt make my makeup last at all. This is all opposite of the black bottle. They must have changed the formulation along with the packaging. I wish they would bring back the original.
