Ultrahuman AIR Smart Ring

Bought 2 rings at Christmas last year. Worked great at first. This summer my daughters ring stopped working completely and after fighting ultrahuman for 3-4 weeks via email, they finally honored the warranty we bought and replaced. Now my ring has not worked correctly since the beginning of September. Stopped working, wouldn’t charge, then randomly 2 weeks later it started working again. Now one day it works fine, the next day it says I slept 1 hour at 6am, next day some other feature doesn’t work. It is always up to date on latest software and firmware. Have reset it numerous times. So all in all both rings worked correctly for 6-7 months. If I had it to do over I’d get the oura ring

This ring is great since it doesn’t have a monthly subscription however it has many issues that persistent happen every one to two months. Issues with battery life, connectivity, tracking. Also if you use multiple power plugs at once you battery will drain out within 24 hours so I was using this solely for sleep and step tracking. They have good customer service but keep in mind my ring was replaced around 6 times in the 1 year of warranty. I started having issues 6 days after my warranty ended, at that point there was nothing they could do for me, and even told me I’ll just have to charge it everyday lol. In my opinion this is not worth the $300.

So far, it has given me a lot of useful info. It’s very comfortable specifically when using at night.

Not really worth it. Battery is already failing and they try to make the data complex to look more scientific but it becomes annoying and hard to comprehend. Little benefit for the price

This has to be the best thing to exist for sleep and recovery data. It’s incredibly lightweight and slim and I honestly forget I'm even wearing it, which is crucial for a device you wear 24/7 and especially at night. It's so much more discreet and comfortable than a bulky smartwatch. The data it provides is fantastic. The best part is the sleep tracking and recovery insights. For me, seeing my sleep score and recovery metrics every morning has actually helped me stay active and make good choices to stay on track

It doesn’t seem to pick up exercise automatically and if I indicate I’m exercising it often loses connection with the HR seeming very off or inconsistent. I enjoy the sleep and stress tracker. Over the past month, the battery has drained very fast. After charging it’ll tell me to charge again 4-5 hours later. I reset the ring and updated the software without improvement.

Battery can be prolonged in the future but the chill mode has immensely helped with battery life. Just because I have garmin 965 as my daily driver I sometimes forget to charge my ring after 2-3 days which I never do with my garmin watch.

I also liked that the kit included a sample of the ring material in different colours and finishes. It was really useful to see them in real life before ordering the actual ring. Once the ring arrived, setup was simple and the fit was just right. It is very comfortable to wear and does not feel heavy or intrusive, even when sleeping or working out. The build quality feels premium and durable, although I do have one concern about scratches. I usually take the ring off during heavy lifting or activities where it might get damaged, but even with careful use I have noticed a few very minor scratches after about a month of daily wear. They are not very noticeable, but it does make me a little cautious. Battery life has been consistently solid, around 6 to 7 days on a single charge. I ran it in Turbo mode for the first two weeks so it could understand my baseline habits, and then switched to Chill mode. The battery life stayed the same in both modes, which is impressive. Charging is quick and easy, so I never feel like it is a hassle. The tracking has been the standout feature for me. Sleep tracking is detailed and accurate. It picks up my sleep stages and gives insights on recovery and readiness that actually make sense. The activity tracking is also accurate, recording workouts and daily movement without me needing to think about it. I really like how it balances recovery and activity, suggesting when to push harder and when to take it easy. Overall, I have been really happy with the Ultra Human Air Ring. From the smart sizing kit to the comfort, premium feel, reliable battery life, and genuinely useful tracking, it feels like a practical and well designed device. My only worry is about scratches over long term use, but otherwise it has been an excellent experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first smart ring and wasn’t too sure what to expect from it, but the amount of features and information this ring gives you is incredible! I for the most part use it to track my sleep, heart rate and steps but it gives you in depth tracking telling you specific things you need to improve on etc! I’m really blown away by this little ring and all the features it gives you, not to mention that the app itself is free to use with no subscription. The battery on the ring is long lasting too with me only charging once around every 4-6 days in turbo mode (you can get longer lasting battery by changing modes) I’m incredibly impressed and pleased with this ring. Before you get the ring you get a sizing kit to figure out exactly what size you need and different finishes so you can pick your perfect ring from home. My only reason for giving it a 4/5 is how easily the finish does seem to get on the underside of the ring which I’ve tried to show in pictures, I’ve had it less than a month and during daily activities it has become quite heavily scratched already, but overall i do think the amount of information this little piece of kit gives you well outweighs the negatives!

The smart ring tells you a massive amount of information and measures a lot of metrics to make sure that you get a great idea of how your body is performing. The main issue with the ring is that it doesn’t really track your fitness as much, it seems to focus on the recovery aspects of things rather than fitness and that is what I would want to concentrate on. It tells me how I have slept and how much sleep debt I have, it also has a cool age feature. Ultrahuman sent the sizer pack and then shortly after the ring arrived. The ring itself is a great colour and is really resistant to scratching etc even thought it is polished. Overall, I really like this smart ring and I have added it to my daily wearing habits… it just won’t replace your smart watch.

It was nice being able to see colours and the raw titanium I chose matched the test colour perfectly. Sizing wise, I wish there were half sizes. I was in between two sizes so had to go with what my gut was telling me. Luckily, I chose the correct size. The ring itself is superb quality. It is well-built and looks incredible on my hand. It is comfortable and is lightweight. I love all the tracking features, but there are times I feel overwhelmed with all the information and don’t know where to look. Additionally, it says I’m asleep at times when I’m still awake. Plus the heart rate it measures me as having is sometimes completely different to a smart watch I wear. However, all-in-all, I’m very happy with this ring and certainly plan on wearing it for a very long time.
