A: Hi! Yes, our POSCA Markers can be used to draw on leather boots however since these are water based we would suggest a sealant to use afterwards.

A: Hello! The marker tip is bullet shaped so at the smallest point it's 0.9mm and at the largest it's 1.3mm. And yes, the bullet tip is reversible! To flip it, pull it straight out of the marker, flip it

Q: How do these uni POSCA paint markers compare as far as being permanent on some surfaces with the Sharpie markers? Does POSCA ink bleed through paper like the Sharpies do?

A: Thank you for your question! POSCA paint markers are a great alternative to Sharpies, especially if you're using them for arts or crafts. Unlike Sharpies, which are alcohol-based and tend to bleed through paper, POSCAs use water-based acrylic paint that doesn’t bleed through most types of paper, making them a great choice for sketchbooks or layered artwork. As for permanence, POSCAs are permanent on porous surfaces like wood, paper, and fabric once dry. On smooth surfaces like plastic or glass, they’ll stay put unless scratched or wiped with a damp towel and/or cleaning agent—but you can seal them with a clear coat if you want your artwork to last. A: Hi KP, thanks for your question. Yes, POSCA paint markers can be used on an outdoor bench as it adheres to many surfaces. POSCA markers work on wood, metal, plastic, and more. However, the paint is not UV or waterproof without a sealant. On outdoor surfaces, it will likely fade or wash away over time unless sealed with a clear, waterproof topcoat to ensure durability.

Super smooth, clean lines, plenty of paint in one pen for an entire wall mural. Colors are vibrant. I only wish they had more sizes of different colors so I could avoid double lining things and smaller line work for the details. Sharpie’s oil based paint markers are the go to for that, but are really hard to paint over when you want to change it. These, being acrylic SHOULD be easier to paint over. Overall, I’m impressed with the vibrancy, and potency of the colors.

These paint markers are perfect because they don't drop or run when you are using them so each color goes right where you want it to be.

The possibilities are endless with these markers, pink, red, yellow, light blue, dark blue, green, white, and black. The colors are bright, so they stand out well. I love that I can use them on multiple different surfaces. The possibilities are endless with these markers. I wanted to paint my plain, white glass flower planter. These were perfect for the job. I am not an artistic person, but I like how my planter turned out. The paint markers are easy to use. Before the first use, the marker needs to be shaken. Then the tip needs to be pressed down on a piece of paper for a few seconds until the paint saturates the tip completely. After that, the markers are ready to go. I only used one coat of paint. Some of the colors could have used another coat because they were blotchy. I noticed I did need to wait until the paint dried if I was using more than one color close together. If I didn't, the paint colors would mix, causing the tips of the marker to be darker than the original color for a little bit. If I messed up, it was easy to wipe away the marker on the glass surface with a damp cloth as long as it hadn't dried yet. These markers are quick at drying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These POSCA paint markers are my new favorite art supply! They're so bright, colorful, and make it easy to create beautiful works of art. You have to press the tip down to prime them before use, but after that, it's smooth writing and drawing from that point forward forward. One of the aspects that I like most about these markers these markers is they are forgiving with mistakes. A cotton swab and some water is all you need to erase any marks that you did not intend. They have a fine consistency that hasn't clumped up in my usage so far. When painting rocks with these markers, I add a clear coat over the top that I purchased separately to give my designs more permanence. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the quality and vibrancy of these paint marker pens and will definitely be picking up more.
