Q: can these be crushed? I am so bad at taking pills and the gummies make me so sick. I need something I can crush.

submitted by AJ1997 - 4 years ago
  • A: AJ1997 - Thank You for your question. Yes. For pregnant women who have difficulty swallowing tablets, just take a prenatal supplement that has been halved or crushed. The facilitate the ingestion of the supplement, it is possible to mix it with food (pureed or liquid). There is no decrease in absorption associated with taking the supplement that way. I hope this helps! Happy Shopping!

allergic reaction

everything was fine till I started having a reaction to it. Up and Up brand I guess isn't for my family. My gums started weirdly peeling when I took this prenatal vitman and had a weird feeling to it. my son had bad reaction to the diapers.

Liked them

I tried plenty of prenatal vitamins. These don’t make me sick and they don’t cause constipation. I was so amazed by this product I went from not taking any prenatal pills to taking one a day with these. It worked for me.

Digestive bombs

If I could give it less stars I would. I don’t know what is in these to cause the amount of gastric distress I’ve been through since I started these. My intestines have been through hell! And once I stopped these and switched to a different brand, my digestive system went back to normal. Target please do better!!!

Too many dyes

I used this vitamin for years and liked it, but recently I needed and wanted to remove artificial dyes, so I can’t take these any more. I’d love to see them remove the dyes and I’d take these again.

Love these vitamins!

I love these prenatals. They are inexpensive and have everything you need in them. I have been buying these for almost 10 years. I used these when I got pregnant with my 8 year old, I used them when I was pregnant with my 4 month old, and I used them in between pregnancy because they make my hair and nails grow fast and long. I prefer these over the hair skin and nails vitamins.

Check the DVs, if you have anxiety be cautious.

I picked up this prenatal vitamin as I have low iron and my doctor told me I needed to start a prenatal to get my levels up. I liked this one for the price point and iron content. I have however had to stop taking it due to the B12 amount: 286% DV. This vitamin gave me severe anxiety. I know it was The vitamin as a day or two after I stopped taking it my anxiety subsided significantly.

I Still Take Prenatal Vitamins!!!

I have used these vitamins since 2008 and I had my last daughter in 2012. I cannot take women’s daily vitamins with or without food I get extremely nauseous so I continue to take these. It’s true you don’t have to take the prenatals that are 30 ct for $20-$30 unless you want to. I see the price has gone up ☹️ but hopefully they will put them on sale 😊.

Wholesome vitamin at a great cost

These vitamins are a great quality! Especially for the price. My OBGYN said they contained all the ingredients/vitamins needed for a prenatal vitamin. There is no need to spend large amounts of money on fancy brands! These are just great. They come in different count bottles and are easy to swallow!
