I do not recommend. Dont be fooled by the paid promotional reviews
I have four kids. Two of them threw it up instantly. The third refused to drink it. My fourth, being the oldest who usually takes pills(I bought pills with this order) since she’s a teen said “I’ll drink this this time so they can see it’s not that bad.” She drank it and said it was disgusting.

Horrible tasting!
I wanted to try this for my sick child since it is the only kids cold and cough medicine with doxylamine succinate. Unfortunately, the taste made them throw up almost instantly. I tried it myself and can't blame them for doing so. It tastes like honey, lemon, and a harsh medicinal flavor. It could work amazingly well but none of that matters if the kid can't keep it down.

horrible smell and taste! read the product review
Taste and smell is horrible! yes I tried it after my kid spit it out. Just like what other reviews said, not for kids neither for adults taste buds. My fault for not reading the review prior to buying. I end up taking it since I have a cough too so as not to waste money. Nyquil helped a little but the dayquil did not helped at all on my symptoms. I am never buying this again.

Terrible taste
The taste is horrible. My daughter started gagging and I thought she was being dramatic so I tried some and I also spit it out. Horrible taste. Unfortunately it went straight in the trash.

Nope! Not kid approved!
As someone mentioned, this item was NOT kid approved! My kids love the taste of honey and use it for teas & smoothies often so they are familiar with the taste. Told them it was going to taste like honey even though the smell imo was awful, I thought the taste would not be. They HATED it. Said it was the worst tasting medicine they’ve ever had! I feel like I wasted my money because they refuse to take it.

Taste was not child approved
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Child claimed the taste was too strong and not sweet like honey. Vicks worked to coat and soothe throat during cough affecting child night and day. With the taste though it became a battle each time and unfortunately we won’t be continuing to use.

Fast-acting Cough and Congestion Relief

Thankfully Vicks NyQuil Kids Honey comes to my rescue by providing fast and effective relief. Although it doesn't taste as nice as honey water, it's definitely faster acting and longer lasting.
