Description

The unique Fever InSight helps you get temperature readings at a glance with a color coded display, and understand them easily. A green display suggests a normal temperature, yellow signifies an elevated temperature and a red display indicates a high temperature. Temperature reading isn't steady

Taking my temperature just moments ago, it ranged from 98.8 to 99.5. I took it multiple times in a minute or some time span. It seemed it would start at the lower temperature and then end on a higher temperature the more I took it. It's like this thing was so desperate to give me a fast read, it would just beep before it was ready. It even changed .1degree as soon as it would start to beep. My recommendation is to place it in your mouth a little bit before you initiate the temperature read button for a better chance at an accurate read.

Surprisingly not easy to use

Pros: The green (no fever), yellow (fever), red (high fever) colors are pretty cool. Makes it convenient so you don't need to remember what temperatures are in what range. Cons: This thing is surprisingly difficult to use. When you turn it on, for some reason it shows you the prior reading. You need to wait for this number to be dismissed before you can measure your reading. After you measure your reading, the temperature will display. But only after a few seconds, it gives it the color rating. All those things I mentioned makes temperature reading an unnecessarily slow experience. Years ago I had a Walgreens thermometer. You turn it on, then you take the reading. Why can't this Vicks one be that simple?

Doesn’t work at all. Won’t turn on. Battery compartment is inaccessible. And target won’t allow me to return it via curbside or via the app which is how I purchased it. This is the second thermometer (different brand) I’ve purchased from Target that doesn’t work. Every curbside order I buy has at least one problem. This is getting ridiculous.
