Q: Are these supplements USP-certified? I don't see that indicated on the label anywhere.
A: Hello JP - Thanks for reaching out to us about this! Our Target Vitamin D is not USP certified, however, CAPTEK’s factories are is USP certified and do make some USP certified products. With that said, even if a facility is USP certified, each individual product still has to go through USP certification, which is very costly to achieve. This involves also having 100% of the raw material ingredients certified by each suppliers, which is often rare or expensive to fully achieve for certain formulation offerings. Target and CAPTEK though do go through strict tests and protocols, both internally and through independent labs like Underwriters Laboratories (UL), before Target will allow any product to be sold to consumers. This helps to ensure a proper balance of highest quality commitment with the best value for the consumer. We hope that this helps answer your question!
