I'd love the different speeds and I can finally duplicate smoothies from Smoothie King and hearty fall soups. The delivery was prompt and package came well protected. Before you clean it ,please read the manual because there's specific instructions how to cleanse it properly.

Amazing Machine
Honestly, I don't know how I lived without this for so long. I'm new to being a vegan and this has been incredibly helpful. Everything I have tried, from sauces to smoothies has turned out silky smooth. It blends things quickly, is super easy to clean and is not as loud as I had expected. I'm very happy with my purchase!!

My Vitamix Explorian 10-Speed Blender is less than three years old, but the blades are already stalling and stopping while blending. This is very disappointing, especially for such an expensive blender. It's not worth the high cost if it doesn't even last three years.

Hi, we are sorry to hear of your experience. The behavior you are experiencing is common and easily fixed. If ingredients are not freely circulating, this is a symptom of air getting trapped between ingredients and the blades, which can affect the blending performance. This is easily resolved by the use of the tamper, which will accelerate the flow of food through the blades. While the machine is running and with the lid firmly in place, insert the tamper through the lid plug opening and begin working it in the four corners of the container. As the food travels around the side of the container, the tamper directs it right into the blades. If there is an air pocket around the blade, the tamper will release the air pocket and create a continuous flow of food through the blades. Still experimenting with it
So far so good. I've used it mostly for blending smoothies. I do need to use the little plunger thing to help push things around as the blades get stuck with the frozen fruit. But it seems powerful enough and does get everything blended up nicely. I've also made humus with it, again, bogged down a little bit but end product was smooth and wonderful.

Darth Vader is in the house
My little white 20+ year old Proctor Silex blender having bit the dust, I went looking for a US-made one small enough for home use. The Vitamix E310 fit the bill! It's so much bigger than my old blender that the little, round, low one became R2D2 in my mind, and the E310 - big, black, square, and imposing, became Darth Vader. It works just fine, though. I had to put a piece of masking tape at the 20 oz line, because the measurement markers are invisible if not in direct light with a dark background inside the container. Not having to remove the blade from the container for cleaning is very convenient, for I can give it a quick rinse without losing that bit of tape. I'm still learning how long to puree things that can be gritty when I stop too soon: the smoothie recipes that came with the E310 are not a good guide for hot soups.

It's nice but...
It blends very well. Definitely another than any other blender I've owned, but it's louder than I expected. Like ear bleeding loud on the higher settings. Also, I wish it was completely dishwasher safe. It's recommended to hand wash.

AMAZING Product I wish I had purchased sooner!
I only wish I had bought this sooner! I went through 2 Ninja Bullets (they seem to always break down after a year of daily use). This makes incredible cashew cream & whips up my coconut cream like so beautifully. I followed the cleaning video directions (small amt dish soap in water then turn on). Thank you Vitamix! I can't wait to try your stick blender when my current one wears out! And, i am also eyeing the glass carafe (avoiding all plastics). Amazing product.

Love it! Just noisy.
Love it! Powerful. It's easy to use and clean. I've had it for about six weeks and use it daily for protein shakes and smoothies with whatever fruits and vegetables I have on hand. The only negative is the noise from so much power. Use good ear muffs to protect your ears.

2nd Vitamix Can’t be without one!!
This is a very sturdy excellent Vitamix model Although it’s basic it certainly does the job beautifully, I mainly use this for juicing/ smoothies. Other popular choices are for making pesto sauce or lemonade I had another model for many years until it died out of warranty This one is simpler with less dials and settings but perfectly adequate for what I need Vitamix quality ie power speed and durability are all present I love the red base color for a change and purchased a stainless steel container from another company to use along with the clear pitcher that comes with the Vitamix Very pleased with my new machine
