Vitamix VX1 Blender Black

It has found a place in our restaurants kitchen and is powerful enough to accomplish any task asked of it and super easy to clean.

When it runs, the blender is strong. It shuts down midway through blending. Then after 5-10 min will run again. Ive checked power source. The plunger does NOT encounter chunky material. Items are cubed and added slowly.

We had a more expensive Vitamix for 15 years. When it finally stopped working, we knew we only wanted another Vitamix. With finances tighter, we opted for a less expensive option in this one, but the power and ease are all still there. It works perfectly for our needs--we love it! We use it primarily for fruit & veggie smoothies, oat pancakes, and sauces.

Works great. I use this for smoothies mostly. Easy to clean unlike other products.

Blender will turn smoothies piping hot when blended for longer then 30 seconds.

I had heard about Vitamix for years so I decided to retire my 25 year old consumer grade Waring and give one a try. I primarily use blenders for smoothies: spinach, milk, banana, and some frozen fruit. Enough liquid to easily drink. My VX1 struggles with this every time. A frozen strawberry seems to bring this thing to its knees. The clutch mechanism is just too weak. I have to shake the carafe and re-blend. I’m pretty underwhelmed given the hype and expense. My 25 yo waring would run circles around this. Making a blended drink with ice is completely out of the question.

I’m loving my Vitamix. It has done everything I’ve asked it to do and it’s done it without breaking a sweat.

I love it! Smoothies are ultra smooth and delicious! I have a ninja but fibrous veggies do not get as smooth.

The blender is really small and doesn’t hold much. I purchased the blender to make food for my 14 yr old with special needs on a puréed diet due to feeding issues, and it takes a lot longer to blend his food using this blender.

I freaking love this blender. Where has this been.... lol

Very happy with this purchase. Thus far I've only been making smoothies with it but it works great just as I'd expected.

Best blender I’ve ever had! Simple, and quieter than I thought it would be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an old refurbished vitamix that is large and bulky on the counter, this vitamix VX1 is sleek but powerful. I find it important to add the ingredient in the correct order for best results. It effortlessly whips up protein shakes, warm soups or cold! I have used it to grind coffee as well. I love the fact it has the clean feature where you simply add warm water and a touch of dish soap and turn it on! Its sturdy base doesn’t shake all over when turned on either.

My vx1 black us is wonderful. I may put in for an upgrade soon!

The Vitamix VX1 Blender is an amazing product! It is so easy to learn to use. It is extremely reliable at mixing up anything that you put in it. Whole fresh or frozen fruit, vegetables, ice, or whatever you are wanting to blend together. It is so easy to clean and maintain just add some dish soap and warm water turn it to the clean cycle and you're done! I would say that this blender is compatible with a lot of the higher-end blenders on the market. I would definitely recommend this blender to anyone. I understand why a lot of major restaurants use The Vitamix VX 1 Blender.

This blender is amazing! I've had Oster blenders and a Ninja blender over the past 15 years. None of them had the power and capacity of this VX1 Vitamix. It makes SMOOTH smoothies, even with fresh kale in the mix. The half-gallon pitcher is so good for making breakfast protein smoothies for my family of 6. It's a breeze to keep clean with the self-cleaning mode, though for really sticky ingredients like peanut butter, sometimes I have to give the sides of the pitcher a quick pass with my scrubbing brush. The blender is loud, but it has a 2.2hp motor, so I'm not at all surprised. Because it blends so quickly, the noise doesn't even matter. So, so glad I bought this blender.

I havent even finished turning it on before it's alredy blended everything. I'm fascinated by the different blending modes it has. Excellent product! I recommend buying it. This blender is AWESOME!!!! It’s not as loud as a traditional blender (in my video I was close up but it’s actually quieter), it’s super easy to use, doesn’t require a lot of different parts in order to work (My Ninja does), and it includes a tamper so ensure even blending of your food. I dislike using my old blender because some food would get stuck so I would always have to take a spoon to redistribute. With the tamper, I don’t have to do that any longer. I used this for the first time to make a virgin Peach Bellini and it came out smooth as can be. It had no chucks and blended beautifully! I would absolutely recommend this over any and all other brands. It’s pricier than what I have paid for in the past for other blenders, but you get what you pay for and that’s a reliable product

I like the variety of speeds and my favorite is the self cleaning option. Appliances are always hard to clean but this one is very easy. The instructions for a quick start are very helpful too!

Bought one for myself, bought one for my parents. This thing is a work horse, it just wont quit. Worth every penny and then some.
