As someone who has murdered many a blender making smoothies, I had high hopes for this appliance. I am happy to say it did not disappoint. Let me start by saying that you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT THE RING AND BOTTOM OF THE BLENDER ARE ALIGNED CORRECTLY AND TIGHTENED REALLY WELL! At first, I thought I had and it leaked through the bottom. After taking it apart and putting it back together, it is fantastic! It mixes everything really well and is so easy to clean! It is a little noisy, though.

I remember seeing Oster blenders at other ppl’s houses as a kid, and now I see why. The quality straight from the box is impeccable! This is my first time using it, and this time it was to make chickpea salad for lunches this week. This blender ground everything up and got all of it mixed together. However, I wish it came with the little thing you can poke through the top to help things along, if that makes sense. This was my first time using it, and one of many more to come for years!

Thank you for sending the Oster Extreme Mix Blender to try. We invited people to our place for a pool party and after finished swimming, some wanted smoothies and others wanted milkshakes. I remembered the Oster Extreme Mix Blender box just came a day before and tried it out. The blender is very strong, 1500 watts, 2 horsepower, and crushed the ice without any problem. When the blender is stuck, with a push of a button, it will reserve the motor for anti-jamming, no more shaking or stirring. The blender program with buttons to make Smoothies, Milkshakes, and Salsas. This blender could make up to 8 cups, great for parties and everyone in our group was happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender does its job but isn’t exceptional. It is made of titan plastic, looks nice, but still feels cheap. It has different blend settings for smoothies, milkshakes, and salsa. I did enjoy this factor as I could throw all of my ingredients in while it blended my smoothie for me. It has a nice interface but I smelt burning plastic when making my morning smoothie. Clean up was easy, I just threw soap in with water and blended for a few seconds. Then rinsed it out in the sink and scrubbed the edges. Does it do the job? Yes! Will it replace my ninja? No.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender is amazing! I love the variety of settings and options. The ability to reverse pulse the blades is such a game changer. I used the salsa setting to make a pesto, and it turned out amazing. It automatically turned off and barely needed the sides scraped. It does a great job with frozen items and made a delicious sorbet on the smoothie setting. My only complaint is that it is tough to scrape the bottom of it. I usually have to completely take it apart in order to get everything out. The disassembled parts do make for easier cleaning, though.

The blender is easy to use with simple instructions and buttons. It was a little hard to connect the glass piece to the base, but even with that it worked perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this blender and have tried it a few times. Overall, i love the settings it has for smoothies sale and milkshakes. You can also choose manual settings. With programmed settings, it will shut off when complete. I love that it has 2 sets of blades to help mix things up appropriately. Things don't get caked at the bottom. The one thing that has me concerned is the top circular port does not stay shut well while running you must hold your hand on it or it unlocks and my fear is your product flying out. Overall not a bad blender for basic things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not been a huge fan of the Oster brand in the past as a lot of their cheaper products have been poorly made, or didn’t last very long. I was actually pleasantly surprised that this specific blender had more professional types of speeds and uses on the selection panel on the front. I did try a couple of options. Specifically the smoothie and milkshake pre-selected options in addition to low, medium, and max crush settings. The first one I attempted was the smoothie pre-selected option and when you turn on the blender and select smoothie, the blender automatically starts, but then abruptly stops And starts again at different lengths and speeds to correspond with the type of item you were trying to blend, which is excellent! I never would’ve thought the Oster brand would have components and professional grade capabilities on a blender like this, but was pleasantly surprised when I tested it out and got great results.  The only reason why I didn’t give it a five star was because the blender itself is plastic instead of glass, which I have been used to as it seems the regular usage of this product might create wear and tear and breakage on the plastic.
