Ordered two of these, one arrived broken though that could have happened in transit. Exchanging was easy but the replacement had a warped dowel. I kept it because it is minor. The other one was perfect. They look great in my laundry room and I love the metal frame. Have had them for a few months now and have never had an issue with opening and closing.

Overall gets the job done
Love the look. Easy for us to install. Use it to hang our hang-dry wet laundry. The black metal bar that is adjustable does come loose on ours sometimes, but overall this isn’t the end of the world and I’m not too bothered by it, as it is an easy quick fix when it happens.

Targets Quality Control is Lacking
Quality control is lacking with this item. While this rack is sturdy and the metal is very durable, this product has a major flaw. The rods are not all the correct length, making it incredibly difficult to open and close. Since the rods are too long, they warp and look awful. I did not want to DIY one and the price seemed good so I ordered this one. Instead, I ended up DIY fixing this one. I had to saw four of the rods off at the base and take some of the length off so I didn’t have to slam it shut or struggle to pull it open. Disappointed in Target for letting something so obvious go unfixed.

It’s a good space saving solution for hang-drying clothes. It works well and is pretty sturdy. It is a bit awkward to put up so I recommend it be a two person job. One downside is you really have to push and pull hard to close and open it. Even after pushing quite hard, it doesn’t appear to want to go in completely.

It’s aesthetically pleasing. you’re able to lower the rack and hang up multiple articles of clothing. It’s pretty sturdy when attached to the wall. The only dislike is the way you pull the rack open and shut- you basically slam it into place to put away- and then have to yank it open. There’s no real latch to ensure it’s in place. It’s works for our small laundry room-and wasn’t to pricey

Took a bit of adjusting but overall I'm happy
The anchors this came with are not the greatest so we used our own and it seems pretty well mounted to the wall. The part that you pull down does stick though so when I fold it back up, I tend not to fold it in fully where it’s snapped in because pulling it from the wall constantly like that feels like it’ll loosen the anchors over time. Also some of the hooks for the metal bar were curved a bit too inward making it difficult to hook the bar so it stays up. Easy fix though by just taking some pliers to it and adjusting the hooks a bit. Overall, I’m pretty happy with it and it’s a great space saving drying rack

Better...but still defective.
I ordered 2 of these and both came with some sort of defect. I wrote my review for one of them, which is the white one in which the entire thing couldn't close properly. The second one can close more easily, but came with a dent in the metal and warped wooden dowels. This is one of those weird items where it feels hefty because of the weight, but in reality, has shoddy craftsmanship. Also, don't trust all those incentivized reviews in which people received free products. I find it hard to believe that not one of them experienced any issues, but yet multiple people who actually purchased it are having the same problems. It seems like Target has recently pulled this item off the shelves since it says "out of stock" for both colors, so hopefully they can fix the issues.

Space saving drying rack is very sturdy
