Perfect mattress pad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got a new very deep mattress (14 inches) and couldn’t find a mattress pad deep enough to stay on it. Saw this one advertised and it is 16 inches, so I ordered it-PERFECT! It slips on and zips up, it doesn’t wad up under the sheets, it is exactly what I wanted, and it’s waterproof but doesn’t sound or feel like plastic.

It seems to do the job but you can definitely hear/feel it when you move. It also sleeps a bit hot. Not like the old school plastics sheets but it definitely did raise the temp a little. Overall, it’s ok.

High quality waterproof cover exactly as advertised
I looked a long time for a protective cover that fit my 12" thick latex foam mattress and that covered all 6 sides. Was skeptical about this because of the reasonable price, but it's beautiful fabric, feels like pima cotton and is indeed waterproof (I tested it before washing it). I don't expect it to be waterproof along seam lines, however. My mattress is very heavy so it was a struggle for one person to get it on. all sides are covered, which means that when it's time to flip the mattress, the cover won't require flipping.

I wanted something to cover them entirely instead of just the top and sides. The mattress encasements fit with room to spare if the mattresses were higher than 8” or if you had a mattress pad. I was surprised that I did not feel sweaty or hot.
