I bought 2 of these lamps in mid Dec 2025. Within 6 mos, the twist switches failed! Actually, I was only turning one lamp on; the other sat unused the end table on the other side of my bed. The first lamp switch failed within 3 mos, so I just switched the lamps around. The "new" lamp switch worked for about 3 mos and then it failed, just like the first. The switch got kind of soft, failing to click into place and, tho I turned it very gently, eventually failed to do anything. Regrettably, I discarded my receipt so the lavish 365 return policy of Target was unavailable to me. I called the store, but never got an answer. I called a district or regional office, but they couldn't find the transaction in their records. So, buy the lamp if, like me, you like its styling--but save the receipt!

Beautiful Accent Lamp

Best modern lamp ever
As someone who loves vintage lamps and would never normally spend the money on a fancy new lamp, I am so glad I actually talked myself into purchasing this lamp.
