Too thick and clumpy
I have to wipe off most of this product on a towel before applying or it gets huge clumps in my eyebrows. I was looking for an EWG approved product to replace my current brow gel but this is not it.

I don’t know if I can describe just how much I hate this product. I bought it on a whim because I just needed new brow gel. First of all $17 for the size is absurd. The reason why I hate it: it’s SO thick. It’s not a gel consistency. Even if you wipe the little brush off to get off excess product, it applies so thick. It’s smudges everywhere and feels terrible. I’ve used it twice and both times I’ve had to do a major clean up job with a makeup wipe to make my brows somewhat acceptable.

This is great but brush needs improvement
So, this brow gel is actually really awesome. it fills in and adds natural looking swipes within your eyebrow hairs. I really like it and it stays put the rest of the day, you just have to give a few minutes to dry before you touch it or put on anything else. Then once it dries, it doesn't smudge all day and it comes off easily when I wash my face which is great. My only issue is similar to what others have mentioned is that you have to really clean the brush off. Like I spend minutes wiping the excess gel back into the bottle until it looks really clean and thin. Because if you don't, it will clump and put too much gel all over. It was horrible the first time I tried it but now that I do this, it works better. It still usually puts too much on the first smoke and then it balances it out. So tI wish I could use it every day but it's such a process that I can't use it every morning personally. I hope they improve the brush system in future editions.

Love the color but this is not "gel"
I have used other brands that were a brow gel. They set my brows and would wipe away if you touched them. That's what I expect with a gel. This is more of a cream/wax. The brush is not the best and leads to lots of clumping as other reviews have stated. I'm disappointed because there aren't a lot of "clean" brow products that are gel. This isn't it. I unfortunately bought two colors I liked but they don't withstand the day due to the formula.

The color of my microblading has faded since I last got it done many years ago. I used to religiously fill them in and have tried so many products – Anastasia Brow Wiz, Anastasia Brow Definer, Anastasia Dip Brow Gel, e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit, NYX Proof It, etc. This is by far the best product I've tried. First of all, the non-toxic ingredients is incredible. As for application, sometimes with the Anastasia dip brow gel, I would get too much product on the brush and have to use a separate brow brush to remove excess and disperse the pigment. The formula of this somehow is dry enough to be able to disperse throughout the brow very evenly while also being very pigmented. Lastly, I keep wearing this before sweaty dance classes and have every confidence that it will stay in place throughout. I will say that the tube is smaller than I expected, but I imagine this will last me a pretty long time.

Do NOT waste your money.
I grabbed this product to try along with their highlighter because they both rated high on the Yuka app. I wanted to like them but will not be buying either again. I was very unimpressed with both products especially for the price and amount you get. They were the size of what I would consider “sample size” or the size places like Ulta or Sephora give you for your birthday gift. For $17 no thank you. That alone would make me think twice about buying again let alone the fact they don’t do much (the highlight is too subtle for me) and the brow gel is an absolute pain to use. I’d say 5x as much as you need come out on the applicator so you have to scrape it all off on the side of the bottle and you are still left with may too much. It also smears like crazy even after setting spray is applied. I’ve kissed my baby and found brown smudged on her face. No thank you. It may be “clean” but it is certainly messy. I’ll be sticking to my drug store brow gel and my Glossier Highlight from now on.

I like the color, but it’s a little thick. I like brow gel that enhances my natural brow, but this is like mascara with a small brow brush. It’s also a little sticky on your brows. It doesn’t completely dry.

Gloopy mess
I picked this up in-store when I was travelling and forgot my usual brow products. I choose this brow gel because the color looked better compared to the other in store options, and I liked the itty bitty packaging - perfect for travelling light! The color did turn out to be great; I have reddish dark brown hair but my brows are nearly black so the dark brown shade was spot on. But I hated everything else about this product. It's far too thick and it smears all over my skin. It's like, mascara thick. It even dries weird, like my brows are permanently wet? I didn't feel like it kept my brows in place, either, despite feeling like my brows were absolutely coated after a single swipe. All in all, it worked in a pinch but I had to do a lot of work to make my brows look presentable.

Very happy with the color and wear but not the quality
I was thrilled with the color and wear of the brow gel but the application was pillier than other brands I've used. I was able to remedy the pilly clumps with a clean dry wand that I kept from another brand. Since it didn't save me and money and required extra time with application, I'll return to my previous brand.

I would buy this product again
I wasn't sure if I would like this product at first. I chatted with one of the Well People beauty advisors and they gave some great tips. Now I love this gel. BUT you do need to follow their advice for use. I thought at first the brush was too small but after you learn how to use the product correctly you realize why the brush is the size it is.

It's good
I like that this helps my brows stay in place and the color works well. It stays on all day and does not smear or appear to melt away. I do not love the brush as it's not super easy to work with but you can make it work. I do find that a lot of product comes out and I do have to wipe a considerable amount off otherwise I get a lot of clumps and splotches. It gets the job done and I like that it has clean ingredients. However, there are other products with a better price point that work better.
