Wet n Wild Breakup Proof Wing Out Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner - Ultra Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really hopeful about this but I think it falls just short of the expectations as far as application goes. It’s the way the formula flows throw the brush, it isn’t consistent enough to get those nice sharp lines you get from a felt tip. I found myself wanting more product to come out pretty consistently. I also feel like you need to move quick because it dries fast and doesn’t really stick to itself when you go over the same spot twice, it almost seems to gum up the bristles more than anything. However, the spots that I did get a nice clean line on I was pretty happy with, it was very opaque, almost had a sheen to it like vinyl, and stayed put all day. I even put a few lines on my hand to really put it through some abuse and those stayed put too! I did a hard rub over the lines on my hand and got minimal smudging even after hours of wear. I also tested running my hand under water with it on and it didn’t come off, I patted dry and it looked good as new. It does seem to spread a bit when you try to remove it, I felt like it turned my make up remover black and in turn I needed to use make up remover to remove my make up remover residue left behind. Is it perfect? No, but it’s a decent choice if you’re looking for a waterproof black liner that’s going to stay put and not break the bank.

The applicator is actually really nice easy to hold and makes applying super simple. But honestly, I don’t think it’s fully waterproof. It feels more like it’s water resistant because by the end of the day it starts smudging a bit. It’s still a good eyeliner for the price, but if you need something that will stay put all day no matter what, this might not be it.

I've been using this product for years and it’s always delivered—until today. After an emotional breakup with a friend and a long cry, I checked the mirror and noticed it had started to crumble and fade in a few spots. I was honestly surprised, especially since I’ve worn it swimming before and it held up perfectly. So while it’s marketed as “breakup-proof,” that wasn’t quite my experience this time. That said, it’s still a solid eyeliner, especially if your eyes tend to be a little watery like mine.

I was in a car accident and even after being discharged my eyeliner didnt smudge or anything. Over 8 hours had passed and when I got home my wings were still absolutely serving and perfect.

Most companies felt tips are really flimsy and I love the fact that this one has structure and doesn’t move around during application. I was able to put the product EXACTLY where I wanted without smudging. Extremely fast drying time and did not smear across hours of wear. I was able to easily remove all of the makeup with just some face wash in the shower as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that I can get a very thin and precise line with this product. While it’s not completely water proof, it does smudge a little if you touch your eye. It doesn’t take a crazy amount of time to dry down, but I have had eyeliners dry faster.

The brush is angled and it’s great for creating a winged look. It also does not smudge and dries fast!! It has everything you’re looking for, it’s fade proof, humidity proof, smudge proof, and waterproof.

Just one swipe gives a rich black color that lasts all day even on my oily eyelids. Minus one star because the slanted brush makes it hard to place a precise straight line.

I cried at the wedding and this eyeliner did not run!! I did struggle just a little when it became time to remove it but a little makeup remover helped with that

This product has a simple black packaging but I really like that the cap snaps in. I’ve had other eyeliners with loose caps that would come off in my makeup bag causing the eyeliner to smudge everywhere and that’s not the case with this. The liner has an angled brush which is perfect is you like adding a wing. The brush is thin so it’s easy to be precise. I like that it’s not a runny liquid eyeliner. It goes on smoothly, doesn’t drip, and dries quickly. When I used it, it was long lasting, didn’t smudge, and is waterproof. It was easy to remove with makeup remover. I highly recommend this eyeliner!
