Though only a 5000 btu air conditioning unit, it felt powerful from the time I turned it on. It was quiet and powerful and kept my bedroom nice and cool with no effort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great little unit. It worked perfect for a small bedroom and though manual it was easy to use and get set to perfect temp without being to cold. Great backup to have during hurricane season if you have a generator.

This unit is 5000 BTU which is good for a basic size room like a bedroom and gives each person control over the temperature in their room. The installation was quite standard. So far, doing it's job!

This unit fits perfectly in our bedroom window, and keeps the room frigidly cold (or comfortably cold based on your preferences!). It’s easy to set up, too. I highly recommend.

Once installed, I tested the cooling performance with a temp gun and measured about a 20% temperature difference, which is exactly what you want to see from a unit like this. It works well, cools the room efficiently, and so far has been reliable. If you're looking for a smaller window unit that's easy to install and gets the job done, this Whirlpool model is a solid choice.
