Great idea, doesn’t seem to work as we hoped:

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our tomatoes just started turning red this week, so really today was one of the tests. And when we woke up, the two red tomatoes were gone from the tomato plants. So, I don’t think it prevents birds from snatching your tomatoes as well as we hoped. Also be aware that it will throw beams of light against your fences, and my husband observed that we probably need to take it down if we have a friend who is prone to seizures over over to our house.
Very well made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok this bird deflector is very well made. I like that it does spin with the wind. I have a ton of pigeons that have been roosting g above my garage so I am excited to put this up and deter them humanely.
It works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bird deflector is great! It was very easy to assemble, durable (we’ve had several storms lately), and effective. Way less bird poop on my porch, and my herbs are growing unharassed. It’s quality bang for your buck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is made of very cheap plastic material. It doesn't want to stay upright. It tries to fall, so that made mounting it tricky. It's hit or miss for if it actually deter birds, sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't. I guess it's better than nothing though.
OK product 👍

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good material, nice size. I would recommend providing a small wrench to use. Also, providing the 4 screws needed to attach to a surface. The product was not easy to assemble due to the bolt having to be taken out before attaching the pieces. Maybe provide it in a separate bag.
Cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I’ve never used one of these before receiving it thru the program, I can say that it does its job. It deflects birds from your yard, field, porch, etc.
Interesting idea, but didn't keep birds away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this product as I have a bird problem in my backyard. Upon receiving the product, it seemed decently well made. The base and shaft are aluminum, while the spinning portion with the cups is plastic with a metalized paint coating. Assembly was easy with one bolt, allowing you to mount in a variety of positions. First issue, the hole spacing is too far apart to mount on a common 4x4 fence post. Also, while the cups spin smooth I noticed it takes at least a 5mph wind to start moving, and about 10mph to really spin constantly. After trying it out in my backyard for over a week out in the sun, the birds just don't care and were perched on the fence a mere 4ft away from it! 😠 The only time they were startled and would fly away was when I would open my back door to try and take a pic! Oh well, was worth giving a try.
This really works to keep away hawks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have red-tailed hawks in our yard, and I am always worried that they will attack my small Chihuahua. They sit on the neighbor's house and watch my backyard. I have seen them grab bunnies and mice from our yard, and I consider them a real threat to my dog. However, since I put this out back, they have not come into the yard. It moves with the wind and creates a flashing with the sun. I truly feel like this is keeping them away. We still see them overhead, but they aren't coming near my yard after a week of having this item out. It really works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product for the price, easy to assemble. I have had issues with crows scaring off little birds, the top will spin in the wind and has been extremely effective scaring off the crows. Heavy duty materials and i feel it will last for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Birds like to build a nest on my porch light in the spring, and this deflector prevented it. It's easy to install and blends well with my decor. I plan to purchase two for my garden once it's planted. I highly recommend for anyone who doesn't want pesky birds ruining their beautiful porch. Thank you for providing a quality product.
Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this works great so far to prevent normal birds. I am going to test it out at a farm to see if can prevent hawks from killing the chickens! Not sure it will work but I am going to try !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually have tons of bird feeders and was nervous about using this. However I also have a chicken coop and we have hawks and turkey vultures that prey upon the chickens. I was using pinwheels to key them away but this works great. They are afraid of the spinning shiny reflective material. It works amazingly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster and Bird X in exchange for my honest review and opinion. I have to admit, I was super excited to receive this bird deflector, because the birds sitting in the tree yapping outside my bedroom window starting at 4:50am every morning was getting VERRRYY irritating. Of course my only real respite from this is a couple months in the winter time, and now with it getting warmer and warmer every winter - I'll eventually get NO break from the birds waking me up! But, I forsee that no longer being an issue! I installed the bird reflector on the corner edge of my roof closest to my window and that tree, and I have to say... there HAS BEEN a noticeable difference in the chirping and squawking! Obviously, it's an eyesore on the house, but when I tell you I'm awoken at 4:50am every morning like clockwork because of these birds - I really could care less if it means it'll make the birds STOP! I deducted a star because it didn't come with the screws needed for installation, and they required a specific size that someone else might night have just lying around like I did. Overall, it's seeming like a solid buy 👌

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have chickens and installed this bird deflector to scare away hawks. So far it has been good and hopefully it will continue the same way. One not so great thing is when there is no sun or wind, doesn’t do much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an avid gardener, I've been on a quest to find the perfect solution to protect my berry patch from birds and rabbits. Traditional bird netting has always been a letdown for me, as the persistent critters manage to tear holes in it, rendering it ineffective. Enter the Bird-X Bird Deflector, a product that caught my eye with promises of keeping unwanted visitors at bay. First and foremost, I appreciate the simplicity of the design. It's not just a functional tool but also adds a touch of aesthetic appeal to my garden. In fact, my neighbor mistook it for a yard ornament at first glance, which speaks to its attractive appearance. I opted to place the deflector directly in my berry patch, anchoring it down with rocks to keep it steady. While it does come with holes for attaching to a structure, I found that placing it directly on the ground works just fine for my needs. One of the key observations I've made is regarding its functionality in windy conditions. The product seems to require a minimum wind speed of around 6 mph to be truly effective in deterring birds. Since I live in an area where wind speeds can fluctuate, I've decided to complement the deflector with my existing bird netting for added protection. So far, the results have been promising. The combination of the deflector and netting has significantly reduced the damage caused by birds and rabbits. It's a relief to see my berry patch thriving without constant battle scars from pesky invaders. Considering its effectiveness and durability, I'm strongly considering purchasing another Bird-X Bird Deflector to cover a larger area of my garden. It's a worthwhile investment for any gardener looking to protect their crops while adding a charming element to their outdoor space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m super excited to install to keep those pesky birds at bay. Won’t be able to install until the rain lets up but my fruit trees are already growing. From the looks of it, it’s only two piece so install will be easy. I’m going to see if I can forgo drilling and try and remove the base to plan on the dirt instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is super easy to use. It can be screwed onto just about anything. It keeps birds away within a 50 foot radius. There is no assembly, besides installing to what you prefer. Reflectors are strong.
