Good pencil sharpener
This is a good affordable electric pencil sharpener. It works great and you can detach the cord when not in use. It's small so it doesn't take up a lot of space and sharpens pencils perfectly fine. It also has a place to capture shavings for easy cleanup.

Love this sharpener! I have it at work and me and my kids use it ! It’s very safe and easy to clean afterwards!! I did have tape the bucket into it bc If it’s not fully in it won’t turn on!

I'm surprised at the good reviews....
If I'd used it only for a regular pencil, I probably would've given it 5 stars, because it does a great job, very sharp point. Buuuut, then I began sharpening my daughter's colored (map) pencils and it was awful! The first one jammed it and I had to take it apart to get the piece out. It does worse a job, the softer the wood. The firmer colored pencils do slightly better, but it takes several goes and eats up a lot of pencil before it gets a decent point.... the softer wood just jams it over and over. So if you're only using hard, regular pencils, this is a great choice for you.... but not for anything else.

Returning - Kept Getting Stuck
This sharpener kept getting stuck on our pencils (Ticonderoga brand). You have to push them in very slowly and it doesn’t sharpen smoothly, it feels like the motor is really working hard. It wasn’t sharpening our pencils evenly either but maybe another brand would work better.
