Zojirushi GoCafe Insulated Mug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bring coffee to work in this GoCafe mug and sip on it on and off over a 10 hour period. The heat retention is excellent. The GoCafe keeps my coffee hot for about 6 hours. I feel my coffee is still quite pleasantly warm even after 10 hours of opening and closing the lid. I do not "pre-heat" the mug with hot water before filling it with coffee. This mug feels lighter than other insulated mugs I have had. I like the option to lock the lid to avoid accidental opening. It does not leak. The spout opening is about 1 cm wide so the flow of the beverage is good. Some of my other Zojirushi beverage containers have scratched or gotten marked up very easily - the outer surface of the GoCafe is holding up nicely after 2 weeks of similar use. I love the ombre color options. I do wish there was some form of carrying loop or handle. I have not tried to unlock then open the lid with one hand. I have small hands and am not very coordinated. I do not drive so I cannot comment on usage in a car or cup holder. Overall, I really love this insulated mug!

Very nice for hot coffee. It is leak proof and keeps my coffee hot for hour. It's easy to drink from with spills or drips, I highly recommend this mug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I am very pleased with my GoCafe Insulated Mug. The claims that Zojirushi makes about the mug are accurate. I have other Zojirushi products and this is definitely more compact and lightweight than the others, which I appreciate. I had no issues with it leaking which is important to me as I use this for hot coffee and tea (which is kept very hot for a long time). I love the wide opening as it makes it easy to pour liquids into it without spilling and easy to clean. The flip lid makes it easy to sip from, however, my chin hits the lid release button when drinking which I did not like. Perhaps a fix would be to make the drinking piece taller? The pros outweigh the design flaw, in my opinion, and I would consider purchasing another, larger size.

Beautiful color, keeps my coffee very hot all day and the sipper is not white.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had multiple sizes of Zojirushi insulated mugs over the years, and use them daily for my coffee. Pros of the GoCafe: keeps coffee hot just as well as previous models, wider mouth opening makes it easy to fill, easier to clean updated lid design no longer has removable rubber parts. Cons: it doesn’t come in smaller than 16 oz if you drink less coffee every day, the top doesn’t always open on the first pressing of the button.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very pleased with the performance of GoCafe Insulated Mug I received. * It keeps both hot and cold drinks for many hours, even overnight. *It’s sturdy. I accidentally dropped it, but there was no damage. * The lock keeps the lid securely closed. I even put it upside down and saw no leaks. You can unlock it, drink water and lock it again with one hand. Ideal while driving. It fits cup holders in my cars. *I got the smallest size (16oz) and it sits nicely in my yoga bag when I exercise in a gym, but it’s too big for a small handbag. It seems that even smaller sizes are available in Japan and hope they’ll come to the U.S. soon so that I can carry one in a handbag when I go out. * I love the color of my plum taupe mug, and find all the other colors elegant, too.

I find myself drinking the same tea all day long because I'm running around helping the kids. I had gotten used to drinking cold tea. That all has changed with this mug!! I love that it keeps my tea hot for hours. I tend to put it in my backpack and it is a good on the go size with a super tight seal. I carry the backpack everywhere with the kids. Added bonus: pretty ombre color that matches my ombre nails 😊

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a couple of weeks ago, and so far I’m loving it! I work 13 hour shifts, and my drinks stay hot all day and helps me keep going. A couple of time I forgot to empty my leftover drink out at the end of the day, and it was still hot the next morning. The colour is super cute and fits with my work bag. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars, is because of the mouth piece. I have be careful not to get too much coffee pouring out at once. Otherwise excellent quality, and I’m very happy I got it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mug has been used for a couple of weeks during commutes and has held both hot coffee and iced water. The mug is well-constructed, with a practical design and portability. It maintains the temperature of hot drinks for several hours and keeps ice from melting in water for up to seven hours at room temperature. The mug features a locking mechanism that allows it to open for drinking; while not essential, it adds functionality. One issue with the design is that the release button can interfere slightly when drinking, pressing against the chin. Adjustment of the button's position could improve overall usability, hence the 4 stars instead of 5! Otherwise, this is a solid product and I would recommend it.

I was gifted this mug for review and I'm so glad I was! It is extremely light and the lid lock is great, has not opened in my purse accidentally. Keeps ice frozen overnight, at least!

I am the very satisfied owner of several Zojirushi appliances and I am happy to say that the GoCafe insulated mug meets the high expectations I have for their products. The design and quality is excellent. I chose the "Sumi" color option and in addition to a great appearance it has a very pleasant satin finish that seems pretty mar-resistant in my typical everyday use so far. The cap snaps open quickly and easily when you're ready to drink, but seals tightly when closed and the spout is very comfortable to drink from and controls the flow perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised at how compact the GoCafe is compared to my last thermal mug, it's about 25% less bulky even though they have the same 16 oz capacity.

Another best in class performing bottle from Zojirushi. I use this bottle for my coffee primarily and it keeps it hot for most of the morning and afternoon. My other Zojirushi with the removable stopper and gasket will now be relegated to water bottle use. As this new bottle does not allow the gaskets to be removed from their plastic parts, I cannot remove the smell of tea or coffee from the silicone parts like I usually do with heat. This is my only issue with the bottle. It is very well designed and has a beautiful matte gradient that decorates the exterior. It performs just slightly better than my older Zojirushi, but at the same time, that bottle beats all the competition. I would recommend this bottle for anyone that wants less parts to clean and likes having the best performing bottle for hot or cold drinks.

Works Great. I bring hot coffee to work everyday and I’m very happy with the results. I like that the rubber seals stay attached to the lid. It’s easy to clean.

I tried the product and am pleasantly surprised on how lightweight it is and how long it keeps cool. I really enjoy using it at home to keep my drinks cold and to bring with me to work.

I really like this coffee or hot beverage Tumblr. One of the things that I love the most about it is the spout from which you drink, as well as the fact that it locks I will also share that it is pretty durable as I had dropped it and it didn’t even dent. I really love the purple color as well and think that it functions well overall. The reason that I did not give it five stars is because you cannot put it in the dishwasher. I realize that many tumblers cannot be put in the dishwasher, but I feel like that’s a really important and easy way to clean.

I've used this mug every day for almost two weeks and am very pleased with it's performance. It keeps my coffee hot all day (8+ hours)! On days that I play golf, I drink my coffee on the way to the course and leave it in the car. After finishing my round my coffee is still hot for the ride home! I used other brands, but this one out performs all the others. It's the right size for my drink holder and at the end of the day, it's easy to clean. You don't have to take apart as many pieces to wash it.

I’ve had the mug about two weeks and can say that it works very well. For cold drinks, the cup is able to hold ice during my 8-5 work day. Warm drinks stay hot for a very long time. If I had to nitpick, the only slight negative is that the spring on the lid feels a little week, such that the lid falls onto my nose and gets my face wet when I tilt the cup up to drink. Aside from that, I love it.

I got this as a sports mom who needs to keep her coffee or tea hot for hours on the chilly sidelines. This product did not disappoint. My only gripe is that it is not dishwasher safe, however they make up for that by making it come apart in smaller pieces so you can make sure you wash it thoroughly to not leave any milk behind to get smelly. I got the smaller 16oz size which is perfect for me and my preferences. I do wish there was some type of handle to hold when I'm juggling bags and folding chairs, but given that it is so small it is not too cumbersome to carry. LOVE that it is leak-proof for when I need to throw it into a backpack or purse.

The size is perfect and it’s really good at keep it hot. I also like the safety lock feature. The package is also good and the product arrived in perfect shape.
