I just want to say that this bread machine is amazing. Simple to use, easy to clean, very quiet and works great! The bread came out just perfect! I would recommend this breadmaker for small families. It’s fantastic!
I used to have this brand in a larger machine years ago. Loved it! So now it is just my husband and myself. Just baked a loaf in it yesterday and it came out perfect just like their larger machine. So worth the money. I tried other brands years ago and they didn't come close.
This machine produces smaller loaves of bread than a regular size machine. It is just the right size for two people. The setup of the machine is easy. It is a little difficult to get the paddle out of the pan for cleanup. The machine runs very quietly which is really nice. You can actually forget that you're making bread. I tried the basic wheat bread recipe but it did not have any flavor. Then next I made the French bread and really liked this. I've made a few loaves of the French bread and they all came out well. Clean up is easy--just wipe out the pan and you're ready for another loaf. The instruction booklet is easy to understand and there are several recipes in it. I think I will try to make a sweeter bread with cinnamon and raisins. Overall, I like my machine and I know it will be well used. I would recommend this machine for anyone who needs a smaller size bread loaf.
I love the size of this pan, makes just enough bread...Iwanted to figure out the timer, but just left ingredients in overnight and put it on the next day, soft mode...loaf came out pretty good, a little denser than I wanted but I subbed flour and it was my first time playing with it so that may account for something.
I have great success with this bread maker every time. I've made about 8 loaves now. The basic white bread is fantastic and the basic wheat loaf is good but I've been experimenting with the firm white bread recipe with a soft crust and substituting as much as half the regular flour with whole wheat and it's my favorite (but I like densely textured bread). I also substitute a little butter for olive oil just because I like the flavor and it comes out nice.I do spray the pan with cooking spray only because I'm paranoid. It slips out perfectly every time but I've never tried without cooking spray. The only real issue is that the kneading paddle is stuck on, but it works perfectly. I should probably have sprayed it and the knob it sits on with cooking spray before I did it the first time.Perfect size for one or two people a couple times a week. I never have to throw bread away anymore or store in the freezer or fridge.Directions are good, very simple and easy to use.
I was a bit nervous about using this for gluten-free baking as it can be tricky, but using a gluten-free bread mix and this machine (on the "quick" setting) resulted in bread that was so much better in both flavor and texture than anything I've been able to purchase before. The machine is very easy to use and comes with both printed instructions and a DVD. It is easy to clean, is very quiet during operation and takes up a very small space on my counter.
