Awesome device to keep your knives honed

I really like this sharpening/honing device. It's easy to use and keeps the knives super sharp. Different stones for sharpening and honing. Stones have 4 sides so you can use this thing a long time! I keep it on my counter next to the knife block. Very convenient. Takes up a little room but having it there reminds me to keep the blades sharp and clean.

Not great.

It makes the knives sharper but no where near sharp. I tried a few knives using both types of stones as per the instructions and didn’t get very sharp so did them all again and same thing. Used my steel after that and this made them a bit sharper but still a long way from sharp.

Very nice sharpener.

Very easy to use and I like the storage of the other rods and angle holders. The spring action does make more noise than I expected making a clunk sound when it springs back into position. It seems to work better than an electric Chef's Choice sharpener I had for an old set of knives.

Happy With It

The inserts for Asian knives are especially helpful. The entire sharpener is very easy to use. While it is in the larger side, it is built that way with reason. I also bought the white ceramic rods separately, but it came with two other sets of ceramic sharpening rods.

Good with CAVEATS, could be great with white rods.

Real good product BUT, here in Canada the white VERY FINE rods of 1000 grit are not available for purchase which makes no sense! The other 2 rods that come with it are ok but the white ones would be essential to be sold online in my opinion. Without them, this does a decent job but not a great job.

Bon produit, mais le grain est trop gros

J’aime bien le produit, mais j’ai seulement deux type de rod, je crois que le grain est 150 et l’autre 400, c’est loin d’un aiguisage professionnel. Je n’avais pas la rod very fine dans ma boite, contacté le support et impossible de l’obtenir, vraiment décu. Je n’utilise pas ce produit pour mes couteaux de qualité. Je me suis acheté 3 pierres de qualité pour entretenir mes bons couteaux.
