Garmin Approach watches come preloaded with more than 43,000 full-color CourseView maps for on-course coverage and navigation.
Battery life varies by model but is reported at about 10–16 days in smartwatch mode and about 15–20 hours in GPS mode across the listed models.
Display sizes shown include a 1.2-inch AMOLED and a larger 1.4-inch AMOLED screen, depending on the model.
On-course features include an improved Virtual Caddie that suggests clubs using shot dispersion and environmental data; enhanced PlaysLike Distance that accounts for elevation and wind via a built‑in barometer; green contour data on select courses; and AutoShot round analysis that records shot distances.
They provide wrist-based heart rate, stress tracking, Body Battery energy monitoring, advanced sleep tracking, and a broad set of activity metrics such as steps, calories and VO2 max.
Maps offer detailed course views with pan and zoom, green contour data (showing slope direction and severity) on select courses, and PlaysLike Distance that adjusts yardages for elevation and environmental factors.
