A: That's incorrect as it only supports the PS5. The PS4 is incompatible with this device.

submitted by - 2 months agoA: You do not need ps5 but you need ps plus premium to stream. I also recommend playing on someone else's WiFi because it will use up your internet pretty fast unless you have TRULY unlimited internet.

Q: Does my ps5 have to be in range to use this device ? Like can I be away from home and use this ?

Q: What time will it specifically launch on November 15th?
A: Doesn’t matter. You have to play on the same WiFi as your device. Seems like a lot of extra money for a smaller version of what already costs a lot of extra money/ the PS5. Makes no sense

Q: Is it compatible with a PS4?
A: No it's not compatible with the PS4 only PS5,and now with the new update you don't need a PS5 to play games from the cloud but will need a membership to use it.

Q: Will I be able to take it with me without my ps5
A: Yes you can take it anywhere in the world as long as your PS5 is connected to Wi-Fi and is in rest mode. And as long as you connect to a fast enough Wifi band you can play it anywhere

Q: Can you use this anywhere using Wi-Fi for example in another state using WiFi or does it have to be in range of the actual system
A: PlayStation.com says this can be used on any wi-fi with the required broadband mps.

Q: Can I use this on vacation if my PlayStation is in North Carolina and I’m in Vegas
A: As long as your ps5 is connected to the home wifi and in rest mode, and the plaplayground station portal is connected to wifi in Vegas, then yes you can use it there.
