I haven't been taking it long enough

It seems to be doing good.. it takes a while (3 months) for a supplemental to get to therapeutic levels.

Take with Magnesium

Derrick Lonsdale, MB BS, researched this vitamin for many years. B1 is known as the great mimic because it is so essential to mitochondrial and nervous system function that the symptoms can turn up as just about anything. It is very important to take Magnesium along with B1 .. they are important synergistic co-factors.

Good brand!

I take one B 1 daily. I am happy with this one. It isn't a vitamin that you will take and notice some difference. But my Doctor put me on 100 mg several years ago. Swanson brand I believe is a good one.

When you take B1 you need to take with folic acid it helps to repair cells in you brain that got damage3 from gastric bypass surgery or excessive alcohol use

I take it for my arthritic thumb & brain

Right after taking one, I noticed the arthritis pain in my thumb was almost completely gone. Previously I had to have painful cortisone shots in my thumb joint. It's been over 6 years now and I rarely have any pain. When the weather has a sharp change I do have some mild pain, but nothing like before. No more shots, but I can't speak to how it will do for others, it does work wonders for me. **Caution, taking too much vitamin B can cause issues with the brain, overdose. Check with your physician.

Why I take vit. B1.

Easy to take; consistent quality. We take it daily because once in your system it makes you less attractive to mosquitoes, ticks and most blood sucking insects.

Water soluble B 1

Regular thiamine (B !) go right through me. I personally get no benefit from them, consequently, they are a poor bargain for me. To rate this product higher they would have to have a money back guarantee.

This product is exactly as described. I purchased this product because my B complex complete liquid vitamin was missing B1. With this product I was able to get all of the recommended daily B vitamins. I recommended this product for both quality and price.
