This one works great to BALANCE hormones, especially for menopause and peri menopause.It does take 2-3 months of taking it EVERY DAY to see results. Then Viola! No more night sweats ect...at least for me and several friends. We do take 2-4 a day. So higher then recommended dose. Many of us have used this for years. Do your research or consult a doctor for dosing though.

Anyone who has ever had cystic acne knows that it is not only ugly, but very painful. They take forever to go away and once they do you have a red mark on your face for at least a month, and by then you're sure to have gotten new ones. For me, I have had bad cystic acne due to my hormones, and became a problem for me my freshman year of college. I would visit my dermatologist who would sometimes prescribe me medication, but having to schedule doctor visits for refills was difficult, and often my doctor would take me off the medication as soon as my skin cleared up. Of course when I stopped taking the pills my acne would come back. I used the medication I was on at the time to see what exactly it did to manage my acne, which turned out to be lowering my hormone levels. I did a Google and found that Vitex, or Chasteberry Fruit, did the same thing so I decided to switch it out and found that it worked just as well. I've been using it for years and have had no issues with it! I would recommend taking it with something flavored, I take it with coffee or milk, as the pills do have a not so great taste! I take 3-4 pills each morning.

For those men who want to lower their libido this is the go to. It takes several weeks but does work.

I originally began taking this because I would have terrible pain just before and during my periods. The pain was so bad that even Pamprin didn't really help it. I noticed the difference within the first month.

This supplement helps me with my hyperparathyroidism which puts too much calcium into my blood. Chasteberry has many benefits and one is putting the calcium where it should be, in my bones. Swanson's is saving my life every day.

The Swanson Vitex is great quality and comes with more per bottle than other brands I have found. I will be back to purchase more when this bottle runs out.

This stressful and toxic world is already a challenge for my special needs child, but when puberty hit, things got really rough and out of balance. This product is helpful for her. I had read that while some people may notice results right away, it can sometimes appear that is is not working for others...but don't be too quick to give up. My daughter takes one capsule a day, and it took 3 months before we saw the improvements. This shows that it was gently & slowly working even though we were not yet able to realize it. I am glad that we did not get impatient. In this rush rush world, we sometimes expect everything to be instant.

I tried this when I looked for an Estrotone alternative. I used it in conjunction with black cohosh. It helped a little, but for the most part my symptoms began returning within a week of taking this. It would be nice to find an alternative that works for me.

I see there are lots of customers satisfied with this product - good if it works for someone, not for me. It messed me up so bad! i wanted to take it to ease my PMS symptoms, i am not sure it did anything for PMS. Instead, i got huuuge hormonal acne on my chin, deep, incredibly painful, sitting deep under my skin. Headaches during period and very long period in addition to that. No thanks, not for me.

Swanson Vitamins brand is synonymous with quality and value for money. I took a chance with Chasteberry and after a month of intake, now I no longer suffer from menstrual symptoms like cramps, perhaps I take this religiously with Evening Primrose from Swanson too.
