Only 4 stars because of the price. It's on sale now at a better cost. I found the product is much more subtle than some mood lifters on the market such as guarana. It is much slower and gentler. So, one in the morning and another around mid-morning works for me. I do feel guarana has its place for certain occasions and is worth having on hand when needed.

Not for me

I tried Ashitaba because of claims of more energy and well being. For me it does not seem to be a supplement I needed. I found no difference after 4+ weeks or so. It may work for others but does nothing for me. It is unlikely I'll purchase it or consume it again. However, I believe Swanson is a good supplier of this item. I do use other Swanson items.

Great product

Within days of using the Ashitaba I noticed more energy, no 'afternoon nap' needed. I feel better, have more mental clarity. I would recommend this to everyone.

Very Awesome

I refer to this as the Asian Wheat Grass. When you pick up one tablet and smell it, you'll get that refreshing hint of wheat grass like you're walking on a windy field filled with them. Anyway, my dad is almost in his 60s and he's never had a day without taking at least one tablet ever since he started. This is definitely an energizing supplement, try one and you'll find out for yourself the difference (considering there are hundreds on the Swanson catalogue, maybe this will be your cup of tea).

Ashitaba is great

Ashitaba gave me more of a balance, I am 56 and going through the change, when I started taking Ashitaba every thing started balancing out and little things do not get to me like they did and Hot flashes are very miner now.
