Swanson Ultimate Carb Control C-120X from White Kidney Bean Extract 2 mg 90 Tablets

I've been using this for years. It helps me maintain my weight. I try to avoid carb-loaded meals, but this really helps when you're eating out, or going to a party, traveling, etc.

Swanson finally made a change to the label on this product, but I'm not sure everybody understands yet. Other products contain White Kidney Bean powder, and White Kidney Beans contain phaseolamin (widely known by a trademarked brand Phase 2) which is a proteinaceous inhibitor of alpha-amylase. The gotcha is that you need a lot of White Kidney Bean powder to get a little bit of phaseolamin. Swanson is using a purification process to isolate the phaseolamin, winding up with approximately 2 mg after standardizing to 6% of 33.3 mg extract from a much larger amount of White Kidney Bean. I used several brands of White Kidney Bean capsules containing hundreds of mg of powder, which were annoying and ineffective. I had to take 2 big capsules 30 minutes before meals. Now, I just take 1 small tablet with my meals (sometimes immediately after). I've been using this product for 3 years now. It didn't help much with losing weight, but it has definitely been the #1 factor helping me keep my weight under control after I got down to my target range.

Somehow this product just did not work at all for me as well as the Swansons White Kidney Bean Extract 500 mg capsules. I'd like to understand why and what's the difference. From the looks of the labels, this Carb Control C-120X is supposed to be TWICE the strength PER TABLET as the 500 mg capsules of the other product. But it just did not perform that way. I actually felt and saw better results with the first product mentioned here. Maybe I'm missing something but I'd like to find out why and what's the difference!

It does what it should however beware of some dry mouth when using!

I have been taking it for only 3 weeks or so. So far it's doing the job. I hope it continues doing t he job. I have lost 3 lbs already. A little slow but steady. And I am a hard person to lose weight, no matter what I do. I think this product does what it says.

Good product, but it upset my stomach a bit. I wish I could use it. I did seem to be losing weight.

I lost 4 pounds in three weeks! I recomend Ultra Carb Control.

Made me nauseous and gave me stomach ache. maybe it works for others

Bottle changed, tablet size changed. Do not like as well as former product.

I am still taking the crab control and as of now, I hope they are working the way they should.

I have been using this products for years however, since my October 2020 order, I was sent a different product. Changed ingredients, tablets instead of small compressed pellets. I contacted the online chat, waited twenty minutes only to be informed that I would be contacted in 48 hours ( but couldn't promise) concerning the changes in this product. I am concerned now for all of the other products that may have been changed without my knowledge. I have always trusted Swanson to be transparent and now, not so much. I cannot attest to the performance of the changed product since I have only today on 12-04-20, opened the bottle.

I really like this product and it does do what it says, to curb the carbs. I will be ordering this again very soon. Thank You, Toni

I LOVE THESE! THEY REALLY WORK. EASY TO SWALLOW. I AM A LOW CARBER. THESE LITTLE TABS LET ME ENJOY A REGULAR TREAT WHEN OUT WITH FRIENDS OR FAMILY, WITHOUT GUILT.

I don't use them everyday, but they seem to help curb carbs.

Haven't noticed any weight loss but have definitely not gained any more since starting this product

Been taking it every day for s few weeks, but have not really noticed much of a difference in my weight yet.

i use this item when straying from my optimal meal choices . i DO however wish swanson would find a better way to package this product . the size of the pills in the tiny bottle make the product hard to handle especially when combined when a packer shoves three [yes three] cotton balls into that tiny bottle ... lol they certainly aren.t going *anywhere* until you finally tweezer that last ball of cotton out & they all escape !!

Like the tiny size-easier than bigger phase 2 caps

I like this product because it is easy to swallow I don't really know how your suppose to tell if it's working or not but I buy it all the time I recommend it
