Very Effective
Very effective for me. PLC is superior to L-Carnitine and Acetyl L-Carnitine (ALCAR) for heart and peripheral vascular issues, including erectile dysfunction. In combination with Viagra or Cialis, it increases their effectiveness, ALCAR is the preferred form for brain functioning and can be taken in combination with PLC. I take this at bedtime because the addition of Glycine helps with sleep. Usual reliable Swanson quality. I wish it were available in a larger, more economical, quantity.

The formulation appears to be different than it was before (comparing the label ingredients and quantities). It doesn�t seem to have the same affect.

Great L-carnitine product
This is a great L-carnitine product when combined with L-arginine 1,000 mg. My energy, mood, and focus are much better while taking it.

Added ingredient
Swanson's GPLC has an added ingredient that gives it a gross smell and upsets my stomach (I think it is calcium laurate). I have used many other brands that did not have this ingredient and smelled fine and didnt bother my stomach. I'm pretty sure it was added because GPLC is very hygroscopic (pulls water out of the air) and otherwise the caps get gummy inside, but I would prefer this to the stink and stomach turning effects. Other brands I can open the capsules and add them to my preworkout drink. These just make a disgusting, smelly, frothy mix that doesn't dissolve. And I'm 2 days outside of my return window, just my luck.

Kicks off my day!
I used a national brand GPLC supplement to kick start my day for several years. When the national brand stopped producing it, I missed it. Then I discovered I could get it from Swanson. It seems to just as effective as the national brand was, and is less expensive.
