Not good for older skin. It goes on like a cream but makes wrinkles and skin flaws in older skin become pronounced. Looks cakey and doesn't look natural. I was better off with just a powder foundation.

I love this cream foundation, but the 255 and 260 colors are from one extreme to another. The 255 is getting to light for me in summer and the 260 is alot darker, I have to mix a lighter color with the 260,please come up with something in between

Here are some tips for opening this product: -The purple cap opens like a flap to reveal the sponge for foundation application. -The glass bottom must be twisted off the purple cap to access the foundation inside. -Make note of the clockwise arrow at the bottom of the purple cap, this is the direction to twist the product cap off to access the foundation. -Lay the product between your palms with the purple cap facing toward the ceiling. -Press your palms tightly together and twist your top palm clockwise to remove the purple cap. I normally love this product easy to use goes on smooth, but this last purchase the product fell out of the case and didn't go on very well. I don't know if I received an old product or what. Will make me think twice before spending the money on a future purchase.

Packaging is Difficult

The product was OK, but the packaging is miserable. I couldn't figure out how to get into it and ended up searching online videos. Thankfully, there were several "how to" videos since many people had the same problem, and there is NOTHING on the packaging to indicate that you have to flip down the bottom section and then twist off the top section. I had to use a gripper tool to open the top the first time. I also found it difficult to find the shade that was right for me. The store just has a tiny circle of many, many beige colors and the compact itself it hard to tell the color since it is in a swirl with white. I actually thought the swirl part was the applicator and found out later that it was the product. The color numbers on the label were no help since they didn't match other Cover Girl products I have. I don't recommend and I won't purchase again. Too bad I can't return it...
