Q: how do you turn it off? manual says press the start/stop button but there is a loud fan( convection fan? ) Unit is not cooking. Just sitting idle. Had to unplug it to stop.

A: Just bought this and tried it empty. The low humming fan seems to be a cool down cycle, after the toast cycle ran it automatically turned off after about 5 minutes.

I wish I kept my old conventional oven. This thing is ok if you use it less than 5 min. Anymore and it'll stop working or trigger your electrical braker. There is not a day where I get E001 error message and it would stop heating my food. The worst is when you airfry as it would start steaming up the display window where it's supposed to show you the numbers. This seams dangerous as it might cause condensation and electrical issues. Don't buy this!! Save yourself the headache.

This seemed awesome, but the first time we used it we made baked potatoes. At the spot where the pototo touced the tray it left a burn mark that no amount of scrubbing could remove. We returned the item because it was brand new and we could not stand looing at that blemish on the tray. So, if you buy this, put aluminum foil on the tray or it will be forever damaged. Sort of dumb of the compant. We have a $40 toaster ove, and that tray has no issue. Also, the doors slam shut very hard and loud if they are not opened 100%.Finally, one shelf fits VERY tight and lines up with some structure screws. I fear that would scrape and further damage the looks of the oven.

This is an okay oven/air fryer, with a significant disclaimer about the spring doors. It is spacious, cooks quickly, 9 of 10 on evenness/consistency of cook. I have also gotten the error code mentioned in other reviews but a cursory google confirmed this happened when the unit is too cold, so I just moved it a bit closer to a heat vent. HOWEVER, the metal on the doors gets exceptionally hot, and the springs in the doors are faulty. They will slowly close and snap back, burning any exposed skin, even when pushed all the way open to the point where this shouldn’t happen. This has happened to me a few times, and most recently I got a pretty significant 2nd degree burn from the metal on the door. I’m extremely careful about pushing them open to the position they need to be to stay open and even stepping back to watch I can see the doors slowly start to swing shut. This would be super dangerous for anyone with even older kids using this unit. I’m going to keep it for now and only use my elbow-length oven mitts to put things into it, but will be documenting future injuries and considering submitting to consumer reports

We really love this new air fryer/oven! We've wanted one for a long time and were pleased to find this affordable brand at Target. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the cord is too short!. We can't put it on the counter because it barely clears the overhanging cabinets. So we put it on a moveable island but the outlets are low so we have to move it sideways to plug into a countertop outlet. That iis not convenient! They need to make this cord at least 6 feet instead of the short one.

so this is my second air fryer. My first air fryer is made of Teflon so I decided to throw it away. This air fryer is an all in one. I have made chicken, which comes out extremely juicy. Toasted bread and even made a one person pastelon which is sweet plaintain, ground meat and cheese like a lasagna which turned out perfect. what I also like about it is that it's very easy to clean.
