Floss shredding in your teeth is not the outcome we would want for you, and we're sorry to hear it occurred, Darrin! We go through many quality checks during the manufacturing process to ensure they're the best possible picks and they're safe for our consumers to use as you're very important to us. Since it is shredding and getting stuck in your teeth, we recommend you stop using these picks. We did make changes to the fiber for the flossing materials. The new version is designed to slide easily between tight spaces while providing a gentle yet powerful clean. The new Oral-B Glide micro-texture floss is made of soft, gentle, nylon and elastic materials that offer triple action cleaning, softness, comfort and durability that is tear resistant. So, this is not something we would expect to happen.
