Worked fine for a couple months now it leaks and barely can get anything through the straw. Stay away, product is not leak proof. It also will flick water liquid you have in it every time you open it. Contigo failed on this one. Do not buy

. Perfect water bottle for me. It does exactly what the label says. It keeps your drink hot or cold. After a 2 year of every day use the straw broke off from lid. Cannot find a replacement for bottle which is still in very good condition. Just need to know where to buy auto spout lid replacement

Do not buy! You cannot clean it.
It was a decent water bottle until black mold started forming around the bite spout. I tried a small bottle brush but it won’t clean it completely. I popped out the bite spout to fully clean it but you cannot pop it back in. Now I have a broken water bottle that cannot be recycled and will end up in a landfill.

The soft plastic pieces were not installed. They were in the bottom of the cup. Don't think there's any way to put them on.

Replacement Parts Not Easily Found
My daughter really loves her water bottle, but the rubber mouth part got a crack and now leaks and I can’t find replacement parts. This should be fairly simple since these are so expensive they are an investment. I feel that they are probably available, but I would’ve expected to go to the website and have a section called replacement parts, especially since this appears to be a common issue.

The straw brakes easily
I was delighted with my water bottle because it didn't spill and it's very easy to carry. However, in less than a month, the internal straw in the lid broke. I couldn't use it anymore because a hole opened up in the rubber part, and it's no longer possible to drink water. I didn't do anything different; the straw broke internally in the lid, a hole opened up in it. LESS THAN A MONTH, I wasted my money.

Awful Platic-Like After-Taste
If water is stored for any length of time, even when refrigerated, it leaves an awful plastic-like after-taste. While I'm not a chemistry and also don't have the equipment to test this, at a minimum it makes me question its safety

Spout broke within 6 months
Loved the insulated water bottle, but the plastic autospout piece ripped (I have no idea how?) and there is no replacement. The water bottle doesn't work without a straw and doesn't work without the autospout piece. Unfortunately this was a waste of money as the design has a major flaw. I do not recommend.

Lasts years, stays cold, comvenient & cute
To the people that complain you can’t get suction/or it’s making a whistling sound: you need to push the straw further up into the top. I have bought at least 5 of these, some of which I’ve had for several years. I wash mine in the dishwasher, top rack with the straw removed. It took until last month for one of the lids to finally break a piece. These have traveled with me to france & Mexico multiple times. I only fill twice before washing again. They go to the gym and work & it took at least two years for one to break whatsoever. So yes I would like to be able to buy a replacement lid instead of a whole new bottle because the bottles are great, drinks stay cold forever in a hot car no problem. The flip lid is so convenient and I don’t have problems with leakage. All you have to do is twist it on firmly and lock the flip mechanism. My only other complaint is that I have a tendency to drop things and after a bunch of times dropping it on the concrete going in and out of my car, the bottom gets pretty dinged up and makes the bottle less stable when set down. Fits in cup holders in my little Toyota, even in the door. I love the little handle too. The whole thing is just very convenient. I really hope they make replacement lids
