I’ve used other electric toothbrushes before but this one takes things to another level. First off, the cleaning power is incredible. The micro-vibrations combined with the round brush head really get into every little corner of my mouth. My teeth feel dentist-clean after every use, and I’ve noticed my gums look healthier and less irritated, even after just a couple of weeks. The pressure sensor is a huge help—I didn’t realize I was brushing too hard until the light turned red! The smart features are surprisingly helpful. It guides you through each quadrant of your mouth and gives feedback when you’re done. Honestly, I did not realize how ineffective I have been brushing my teeth all these years. Battery life has been solid—I charge it maybe once a week, and that’s with twice-daily use. It’s also super quiet compared to other electric brushes I’ve owned. The carrying case is a plus too and good quality! The only “downside,” if you can call it that, is that it sometimes skips for a second and pauses rotation but it only stops for a second. Overall, this toothbrush is worth every penny. My dentist even noticed the difference during my checkup. Highly recommend!

The brush is lightweight and features multiple settings including one for sensitive teeth and gums. I love that it uses a green light if you’re using the correct amount of pressure and that it vibrates every 30 seconds to notify you that you’ve finished a quadrant. That said, I’m not a fan of the sticky button design, the flimsy travel case, the fact that the toothbrush doesn’t automatically turn off after 2 minutes, and the expensive replacement heads. I could see myself using this toothbrush occasionally and on an as-needed basis, almost like an exfoliant for my skin, rather than daily. I feel that this would be good for those who aren’t as confident in their brushing skills or who are more prone to buildup.

I used to use a Philips Sonicare that broke after just a year and I'm hoping that this will last longer than that. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Oral-B iO5 Series 5 Rechargeable Toothbrush for free from Influenster and Oral-B in exchange for my honest review. I've been wanting to take the plunge for a rechargeable toothbrush but was unsure which brand to choose and if the cost would be worth it. After using the iO Series 5 for the past month, I love this toothbrush and wish I had taken the plunge far sooner. The box comes with the rechargeable handle, 1 toothbrush head, a case, and the charger. The handle takes roughly 12hrs to fully charge so I chose to charge in the evening for a few nights to fully charge even though I was already using it. It sits on the charger so do place this on a level surface because it is a bit wobbly. To connect to your phone download the Oral-B app and make an account to save your data. To connect turn on bluetooth and location then shake the handle to link it. I've been connecting once a week to upload my data for every night I've used this as I'm still using my other toothbush for morning use. With the account you can track your oral routine, brush with a guide, pick a color for the ring light, see advice to step up your brushing and track when you need to replace your brush head etc. I can definitely tell after every use that my teeth feel way cleaner and get in and around my teeth much easier so I'm to see what my dentist says next week for my 6 month check-up. I also like knowing that I'm not brushing with too much pressure as the light will turn green for perfect, red for too much and white for too little. Also it vibrates every 30 seconds to switch to the next quadrant and lights uo in a rainbow when you've finished brushing. Extremely satisfied with this toothbrush that I purchased the 9 pack replacement toothbrush heads from Costco last week because they were on sale. Absolutely would recommend so thank you for letting me try this.

Overall I found that it’s easy to charge, and charges quickly. It also doesn’t make a lot of noise, which is helpful. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the brush head, it was very wide and a bit too hard on my teeth and gums. I will need to find replacement brush heads that are a little more friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the electric toothbrush, it cleans your teeth well without hurting them. It has colored lights to help you identify when you're brushing your teeth too hard. The battery lasts a long time and it has several vibration options.

Cleans my teeth well, but replacement heads are expensive and tooth brush developed mold despite regular cleanings. I store the head upright and detached from the brush, rinse the head and handle after every use, shake out the excess water, clean both parts with hydrogen peroxide and change the heads regularly and still have mold and cannot get rid of it. I hadn't been feeling well for months and finally my symptoms improved once I quit using this toothbrush. I am highly disappointed considering how expensive the brush and the replacement heads are.
