Golf app keeps crashing
I wanted the epix pro for all activities but especially golf. When I'm playing about 2 hours into 18 holes it will reload the map and yardages. I lose all of my information and have to change it to the hole I'm on and restart. Not good. Not good at all.

Hope you are having a good weekend! That does sound odd with the Golf activity restarting, I would recommend if you have not already checked to make sure the watch is up to date with software. Afterwards, you can power the watch off and on. This clears the cache. If you are still experiencing problems, please call into our Product Support team, so they can troubleshoot further to get this resolved for you. Our phone number for North America is 1-800-800-1020. Music not great
You cannot add your own personal playlist to listen without your phone. You can only add pre-made playlists created by Amazon, Spotify, etc. No one wants to listen to songs they didn't choose.

FAIL
I upgraded from a Fenix 3, 5, and 6 to the Epix pro and after about a year it won’t take a charge. I cleaned the port and bought a new charging cable. Still won’t charge. Luckily I still have my 6 so I’m back to using that. I do triathlons and also perform search and rescue missions on one of the busiest SAR teams in the USA. Love the Epix, but need it to be reliable.

The Golf application alone is worth the change. Touch screen is wonderful too and re: golf it has so much variation to help identify exact yardage and hazard locations. The software is simplified with fewer "global" settings and infinite adjusting to customize your settings.

Love the EPIX Pro!
I bought this watch because my instinct solars battery became unstable. I have always liked Garmin products and the epix in no exception. I got the slightly larger face with a white band. Aesthetically it has a sporty elegance to it which allows for both formal and training wear. The screen is easy to see even with my eyes. I have not yet tried out all the features of the watch but it had been easy to use to HIIT, walking, biking, and even Pilates. Overall I am pleased with the Epix and using it daily. Please keep in mind I am not an expert training person so my usage is for day to day tracking and some workouts.

Great watch so far!
Had the watch for a couple of weeks and I am very happy with so far. Only changed it once so far and still have 5 days of battery life left. (With my Apple Watch I had to charge every day!). I’m most impressed with the golfing features. Still have more to learn but so far I highly recommend it!

Coolest Smart Watch
This was a replacement for my Apple Watch. Never going back again. I like the rugged styling, which encourages activity, rather than being just an accessory. Lots of features, many of which I haven’t explored yet. Some of the interface controls are a bit confusing. It took me a long time to decide on the model I wanted, considering that there isn’t a easy way to compare all the available features and decide which one I want for the price point. Apart from the above, this one is a keeper. It almost grows on you.

Great watch
This is my second Garmin, I also have the Instinct Crossover Solar (great watch). The Epix Pro (gen 2) has a bright display, ease of function, more data and tracking than anyone could need. The gps is the most accurate I have seen. The battery life is excellent, but I keep the watch face on the basic analog out of the box one, all I need. Easily my favor smart/sports watch, fits my lifestyle well. Though pricey, if you are looking for an Apple alternative, you can’t go wrong and will be more the pleased. Added value for uploading music to the expansive storage and ditching your phone during activities. Great buy. 5 stars.
