    I’m not sure if the one I got is a dud, or if it’s a consistent problem, but I can’t get any product to come out the top of the applicator. It worked well for one use and then stopped working. Color and consistency are nice, lasted a few hours (not a super long time), but the poor design of the applicator makes it a no-go for me.

    Favorite color, short lasting

    I love this lip stain so much! It’s my favorite ever but the pigment does not last more than 3-4 weeks. I love it so much when it’s new and fresh but it runs out so quick :(

    I really love this at first and it genuinely lasts a good amount of wear tome. But after like two uses the consistency was so off. It’s patchy and no product wants to come out. Like it’s dried up. I’ve tried storing it vertical which somewhat helps.

    I love how lightweight and easy the application is with this lip stain. It feels like you’re wearing nothing at all! The opacity is buildable, so i can go for a natural tint or bolder look. BEST OF ALL, there’s absolutely zero transfer once it dries. It feels vibrant for hours without feeling sticky or drying out my lips.

    Doesn’t last

    I bought this lip stain in the color sugey girl and though I do really like it, I just wish it lasted longer. The color is beautiful and it blends really easily as a lip liner it just doesn’t last very long for me.

    Poor amount of use

    Bought the Covergirl Outlast Lipstain in the color admire less than a week ago. Used twice and it worked great as both a lip liner and lipstick and the color was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The reason for the 1 star...after the 2nd use it no longer works. Cannot get any color out of the tip. Pricey product for the uses obtained.

    Cover girl lop stain

    Not a bad lip stain, just not a good one as compared to others out there. I’ve used maybe 5 times and already the product or supply is almost gone. So not a whole lot of product for the $10. I won’t buy again.

    Great stain with precision application point

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a treat of a lip stain! I love the pointed felt tip that let me line with more precision than a brush would. It also helped spread the stain evenly vs deep points randomly. The product itself soaked in quickly and evenly. It wasn’t drying and it lasted all evening. I love the mauve because it’s just a hair darker than my natural lip color so it’s just enhancing. It’s also fairly buildable for nights you want darker or to blend it with another lip color. I didn’t even notice it was there after application which is my favorite kind. Overall, if it lasted as long as my matte stay 24 I’d make the permanent switch but this will stay in rotation for my less make up days

    My favorite lip stain from the drugstore

It lasts a really long time, at least eight hours on my lips without smudging. The colors are beautiful. It is fragrance free and very buildable. All in all an excellent buck for the price.

    10/10 Last all Day/Night!!!!

    This is a seriously incredible product! It lasts all day! (or night, I put it on before bed once when I bought my first one and woke up to the full color still on!!!) I don't often buy make up EXCEPT for lip products because I never have the right color that I need and I'll often use three different products to achieve what I want and have to reapply often. Also lipstick/gloss is sticky or chunky. These lip stains are so perfect and smooth because you can use them as a liner or all over the lip and then all you have to do is reapply chapstick or a clear gloss if you want some shine. I work in music/entertainment and this is the perfect product to wear ALL DAY for events. My coworker was wearing 35 Canyon and sent me and some other coworkers the link. We all have tried different shades and we LOVE them. I have 35 Canyon and Admire. I have been and will continue recommending it to everyone!! I am seriously considering ditching all my other lip products and just using these. I will be slowly purchasing every shade because this product is that perfect!!!
